Looks military style, but I rather have my 98 custom compared to what I have heard about the A-5.

hmmm.......... Definately more compact than the M98, while still retaining Tippy's unique style.......... Feeder looks REAL interesting.......... Hell, from the looks of it, might even be able to slap a flatline on that thing...... Well....... It shows promise, but until i start hearing more about it, I'll stick with my M98

looks like drop forwards will be non existant on that gun... damn it looks okay, but definately not better than the m98c

When I get mine this is what im going to do with it...

Im going to put an MP5 retractable stock on it, and a tatical sling.. i will also probably run a remote kit.. It will make for one small, light quick gun i think.. but of course there is no telling untill itsout

I like the way it looks, I'm just wondering if I can use the vertical adapter for the 98 Custom on the A-5, that would be nice. The feeder doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. I saw it on the M98C at warpig and I thought it looked horrible.

It's about time. I've been tired of hearing people talk about their C98s. I have one right now (borrowing) and I think it's okay, but it's way too popular. I like my rebel b/c it's unique in it's own way. Now people can talk about their A-5's instead of their C98.:D

rebels are unique? HAHAHAHAHHAH ROFLMFAO~! OMG!

dude, rebels are the SAME EXACT gun as spyder shutter's, just with a different name. so much for 'unique'.

no one can say whether the A-5 is better, worse, whatever than the 98c, pro/carbine,etc b/c only a small handful have tested it!! be patient, wait, and we all will see once it finally comes out, but i am VERY anxious to see how it performs. it looks sweet as hell.

i was wondering the same thing. i tried to get into the working directory and was denied. if that was a guess, one hell of a guess. i'm suprised tippmann hasn't deleted that pic yet so i'd save it while you can.

I have read that MSRP is around $300 and that it has the same barrel thread has a procarbine.

Where I play at (woods), rebels aren't even known, and they think they look bad-*** and they say they shoot harder, faster, and more accurate than a tippmann any day.

well 'they' lied. shooting hard/fast depends on your velocity/loader/triggerfinger (and with a RT on a tippmann a rebel wouldnt stand a chance)

rebels arent bad guns, but i just hate how the shutter and rebel are the same exact thing, i just dont find that very appealing.

and if noone knows what a rebel is, you must be playing out in the boondox...

THIS POST IS NOT A FLAME TO ANY TIPPY OR ANY MEMBERS ON THIS SITE
Actually, I DO play in the boonies. You got a problem with it? If you do, I don't care. And surreal, why do you keep comparing the rebel to JUST a shutter? I can name about 10 different spyder products that are like the rebel.
Here we go:
1.Sonix
2.Compact 2000
3.(As you already know, Shutter)
4.TL
5.TL+
6.Targa
7.Sport
8.Classic
9.Compact SE
10.Xtra
I can still go on for about another 5 markers.

Tippys are over-rated/too popular, Rebels/Spyders are great shooters.

No offence to Tippmann, they make a good marker, but I think they should move on.

BTW...You pay $30 more for the name Kingman. 32* has sweet Tech Support/Customer Support and I just got a FREE replacement marker when I stripped the threads!!

I'm leaving this post now.

he compares the rebel to a shutter because the rebel to a shutter because the rebel is based on the shutter, that's why.

all blowback markers (except tippys) are basically the exact same. you can't say that the rebel was based on the shutter. i can't see anything with the rebel that would relate it closer to the shutter than anything.

to start tippmann has some of the best customer service around, also they need to have a policy if the threads get striped you get a new gun becasue there guns are always breaking, tippmann dont break:pissed:
