board question

so i got one of the first mini's and i love it but it just eats the battery. is there going to be a virtue or something for it?

As far as I am aware, none of the usual suspects have announced the release of a Mini board yet, but I am sure that it will only be a matter of time.

I think i heard of tadao or SD making a board for it. but i'm not entirely sure.

yes, tado has a board made for them. Simon stephens has one in his personal mini. He says it rips with it. Lucky, and virtue are also making boards for it and have came out and said it. But no one has set in stone release dates.
As for your battery drain issue, The boards have problems. The optimus 1.1 is the effected board. The first shipment had these boards in them. Evil discovered the problem and nps stopped shippment. You need to contact nps and they will sent you a shipping lable to ship it back to them and they will install the optimus 1.2 board which it the revised board that does not have the battery drain issue. All of the new shippments of minis will have this board in them unless you run across one for sell on ebay or something. Any blue or red mini will not be effected by the bad boards because none of them were shipped prior to the discovery of the bad boards.

Once your mini is fixed, you shouldnt feel the need for a aftermarker board as the one that comes in it is quite nice.
