you need to find the sweet spot. and i believe its roughly the same at the egrip.....around 12 or 13. at least M egrip shoots about that.
i suggest getting an egrip...its legal at all fields, unlike the r/t, and theres a few different modes, and makes your trigger pull cosiderably lighter.

Hi
The R/T is a piston that returns your trigger. By finding the right adjustment it will throw the trigger forward back into your finger. Which cause your finger to fire the marker again.
Adjusted right you should be able to get 15 bps. If you run co2. As the marker get cold you will start to lose the sweet spot. And end up with just bursts.
I have an e-grip and a R/T on differant markers. I love them both.
I run HPA tho

hold on. i bought an old tippmann of a friend, and when i shoot it, no matter how little force i put on th trigger, i can only get out one shot. the first time i used it, opened up like a bat out of hell, but now, im jsut playing with a stock 98c basically, cuase im running on semi auto. i've opened up the ROF adjuster as much as i can, but im still playing semi. how do you find the sweet spot, and is it possible that that the o-ring on the piston is to worn down, and is letting out all the pressure, so it cant recock it?

Max for a normal RT is around 12-14 bps. Like slingshot said, if you run CO2 through it you will end up freezing your marker. The sweet spot is different for each RT and takes some time to find. I found it easier to find with the use of a double trigger, but thats preference. In my opinion, the egrip is a better buy unless you are going to be playing in the rain/swamps much. It has a higher ROF, and makes the pull much lighter. The stock WAS boards that come with the kit have a mod for 3 shots then full auto (NXL mode) Of course, all thats legal at fields is straight semi.

Hi
With a R/T and co2. CO2 sometimes leaves particals behind. This could block your tube.If your having problems with your R/t and it seems like the trigger isn't being pushed back to the reset point no matter how you set it.
Remove the air line from the side of your marker. Pull the trigger. Blow air in the line from your mouth and check if the piston came back out to touch the trigger.
Most problems are bad oring on piston. If you shut off the r/t and the oring is good. Your trigger should be real hard if impossible to pull.
If you can blow air thru the air line in should be fine. Check the adjuster to make sure air flows thru it. Then leave the air line off. Put co2 on your marker and fire it. air should come out the side of the marker.
If you find a block. Check to see if your asa has a screen in it. If not get one. This will help with partical problems.
I hope this helps.
