You wont get an answer or a true answer at all.

If someone can take a one shot one hit then they probably wont spray.

Basically, everyone does both. Sniping is stupid in paintball so people never go around shooting one shot at a time.

You will even shoot a few balls to eliminate anyone. Spray and pray means just shooting a whole lot of paint because you can't aim or your marker wont hit the broad side of a barn, only idiots would do that.

Yeah, no matter how accurate the shooter a volley is always shot. Especially considering the nature of paintballs and how nothing short of divine intervention could really give you ball on ball accuracy with them.

If you can fire 10 shots instead of 1 why wouldnt you......... there is more of a chance of hitting them. Just cuz you shoot less doesn't necessarily mean you are going to be more accurate. I can rip off a string of paint as accurate as if i sit there and try to fire one shot right where I want it.

^exactly. why shoot one shot and risk having it bounce, or be a dimpled ball that curves, or the guy move at the last second. if you have time to fire more than one shot then why take chances by only using one shot? I might have as clear a shot as possible and I'll still usually shoot 2 or 3, and I'd expect the same of anyone I'm playing against if they have the chance.

basically, I'll shoot whatever way will give me the best chance of getting an elimination, its playing to win. that said I'm not a big fan of indiscriminantly spraying paint. wasting paint means you need to reload more often during the game, which reduces your ability to do other stuff during those couple of seconds, and you never know what will happen.

Realisticly, 1 shot, 1 kill doesn't work in paintball. Now it can be done and I'm not saying it can't be done, but for all intensive purposes, it doesn't work. I personally do 1-3 shots at a person, depending on wether I have them dead to rights or not. But I don't 'spray and pray'.

Eh, gotta tell you what a kid told me, he wen tpaintballing one time, then was recommended a spyder sniper, and he says, oh good, i can only snipe, its all i can do.....

You technically cant snipe in paintball... no shot will go perfectly street, but hell yea, i spray all i can, but for the reason i like to cover down people so my guys can move up... which is also wierd that i play snake and spray...

There isn't really an answer unless you play pump. If I use an electro, I guess I sprey and prey, because even though I know I will hit them, I will still fire 3 or so shots because of bounces, them moving, or just bad luck with broken paint.

Spray 'n pray works the best because you have a higher chance of hitting. And there is no sniping, so why not.

Yea... with a non AT pump, it's hard to snap off 3 or 4 quick ones, you tend to aim the first one and all that follow more accurately. I think the best game I've ever played I got 6 eliminations with about 14 paintballs. It's still not one shot one kill, but it's a lot closer that any semi player will ever come.

I like to just use the millenium ramp on my E*Tek...hit 7bps and ramps to 15bps.
