I normally feel fine, just a little tired from running, diving, holding my gun etc.

As for pain from the hits, i normally dont feel it the next day or any days there after; unless i got shot in the neck, back, or fingers.

I went yesterday and I am perfectly fine and not in any pain. The shot that hurt the most was to my shoulder that didn't break.

I'm tired, but we always hang out, do more stuff, talk about the game, laugh about it.

Always feel great the day after pb. I play every week and get a great cardio workout. Any welts I may have are just fun 'trophy' type features to laugh about. Minor pain such as from pb hits is good for one's constitution in general, makes adrenalin and endorhins flow.

Having said that, sometimes people fall bad and hurt themself and that's a different story. One of my crew fell hard last week and a rock cut all the way through his 'tactical pads'. Stuff like that DOES suck.

Edit: You should have included an option for 'feel like crap with a hangover' because after our games we tend to get mercilessly drunk and laugh about the days activities. Today, admittedly, I'm watching superbowl with an horrendous hangover.

I usually feel pretty rough right after playing, but the next day I'm fine. Sometimes on the longer days I'm a little stiff...

Stretch beforehand. I do that every time I go play and I've never had any aches or pains.

Since i don't play that often I am usually in pain the next day. I fight through it and just remember all the fun I had the day before though.

it's always fun right before going and right after going to tell people that i am going to/did shoot people over the weekend. i usually get a :eyes: look, but then i explain it.

I always feel like I haven't played at all...but that's because I'm forced to stay in peak physical condition.

Like kj said, stretch before. Hydrate before, during, and after. (and by hydrate I mean water or Gatorade. Stay away from the energy drinks and sodas). If you want a good recovery drink, try chocolate milk. Then stretch post-play.

Always works, and I do this not only for paintball but for road racing and xc mountain biking...I do tend to get sleepy from all the exertion though, so I sleep very well at night!

just the usual leg pains. and usually a headache later on in the evening if i take a decent head shot from close range.

as long as i stretch before i play i never have any major muscle pains. that, and i sit in my hot tub every night after i play

Just stretch before, no pains, no aches. If you stretch good it is like you didn't do a thing.

Well, the hits don't hurt, unless fingers, neck, or crotch. It's usually the soreness from being crouched and not having any knee pads.

Same.
In fact, I rarely get a serious bruise anymore. I dive behind bunkers, and crouch for a long time without getting aches and pains (Im sure the XC and Long-Distance track is the reason why I never get aches).

well, i play hard, and i mean really hard. I do all kinds of stuff during the game that is not good at all fer ur legs, but if u play everyweekend like me, u kinda get used the the small aches and pains the day after.
