quite the contrary, i know someone was making carbon fiber shells for the Reloaders and Halos. not sure if it progressed any more than a prototype or not.

Fake carbon fiber it not worth $200 and nor are hopper shells. Especially weak ones.

No you actually get the whole hopper from the looks of it, so the shells are really around $70.

$200 is alot for a Vlocity whether the shell is real carbon fiber or not. I've seen those things before, I dont know if there are any separate CF shells you can buy though.

I saw some Pev's SL66 Ego's with CF VLocity's. Look at the reviews for the SL66 and it should be in there.

Are the CF shells guarenteed for life or something? CF can still break I've seen people snap CF barrels before, so it would just mean they have to pay that $200 again.

chances are though, you wont break it. no guarantees, but as long as your not dropping it from a helicopter or doing who knows what to it, it shouldnt break. i mean, I know who broke those barrels. Angry tourney players who blame their equipment.

The SPO shell is just a cosmetic finish - film dip coating probably. I am certain that the shells aren't made of carbon fibre. If you look under the custom heading on their webpage, they will finish your marker, loader, barrel, what have you, in one of their finishes. You can't tell me that they will make a carbon fibre body for any marker you happen to give them..... :dodgy:

As Uziel stated before me, they aren't actually CF. These will break almost as easily as any Halo shell. If it WAS complete CF I would agree with you however.

Acctually the 2 barrels I have seen snap were people diving and they took a core sample and the barrels snapped right near the threads.
