My dad got them done btw. These are chrome platings, he is a jeweler.

he can only do silver chrome, and thats about it, i was lucky enough that my accents are silver, very close to chrome.

i could ask him for you, tell me which parts you want done and i will ask him.

He is currently doing:

My CP [it will look AMAZING, i will post the pics tonight hopefully]

My Detonator [the piece you rotate to adjust pressure]

and my Rail and Nob on my NDZ ASA.

but yah man, before i picked up my promaster, it was going to be either silver with black parts, or the other way around. someone already had the silver with black parts, so i decided to stick to a black promaster and go all out silver on it.

I want you to see how the stuff come out first, then you can decide whether you want to go for it or not.

Its no exactly annoe as i stated before, he covers the parts with chrome. they wear off faster than regular annoe, but, my dad can always re-chrome the parts for little or no charge at all.

According to my little info, he is plating it [over the actual piece].

i will ask him and see what the deal is.

I know for a fact that he is NOT sanding off the original annoe, just doing the new annoe over the black colored parts.

Alright, quick update.

So my dad comes back, and i asked him.

He does in fact take the original annoe off, and it comes down to stainless steel, then he polishes it with 'chrome'.

Its simply polished he said.

i said in my previous post that he does not sand the original annoe, but I was wrong.

if you are confused about anything else, feel free to ask, he will be home tomorrow [well today is Sunday lol] and i could ask him more questions.

Nice, great priced gauge too. ($8) I prefer Planet Eclipse gauges tho ;) .
You should do the FS-8 in bright St. Patrick's Day Green. You could call it the Lepricon FS-8.

yeah, the ASP gauges are a great deal, I've been dwelling on getting one ever since Have Blue started carrying them.

I like the ashcroft gauge, nothing says "I'm better than you!" like having a 700psi gauge the size of a silver dollar sticking out the side of your gun. :flagrun: I'm so used to it that I think a smaller gauge would feel weird to me.
