im not quite sure. You could try an allen wrench a size too big, but I don't know if it'll work. Or, if its possible, you could find a way to cut the bolt/ screw.

i tried using the metric size 4 but its too big..i went to try standard size of 1/8ths it slips... someone told me to "drill" a hole in the middle of the screw...what would that do???..

Try these (in order from simplest to hardest):

1) Take your finger/a toothpick or something and see if you can rotate the screw in the hole. The head may be stripped, but it may be in there loose enough to work it out with something.

2) Take a strong adhesive and glue something into the head so you can turn it (it works for me occasionally using a junk piece of steel + epoxy/super glue).

3) Take it to a local machine shop and have them remove it. They should be able to drill & tap it, depending on how small the screw is. Or you could try and do it yourself if you know what you're doing.

That's what has always worked for me.

that glue idea sounds pretty good. You should try that, and then go to the shop.

Where is the screw, can you get the body of it or is it recessed? Best bet, heat it, makes it easier to get. Man years of restoring cars has taught me alot, if that doesn't work drill it, that allows the bolt to compress some internally and basicly loosens it up enough for you to get it out. Just know you'll have to re-tap it.

Course you can send it to me if you wish

If it's not recessed, try a small pair of vice grips. I have one that I need to use vice grips to get out (and I can't find a replacement for it anywere ether....)
