Just a little warning...

I've posted the last couple of days about my accidental overtightening of the regulator screw on my 4.0. After trying everything I had to drill out the reg. ball(under screw). I called JT to see where I could get a new ball and spring. Apparently this problem isn't that uncommon since he knew exactly what I was talking about,he even asked if I drilled it out. Well when asked for the parts he told me they were out of them,and since the gun is discontinued they wont be keeping any parts for it. Is that load of crap or what? He told me to put loctite on the screw and tighten it flush with the asa so it doesn't leak. Gee thanks for the help.....Just hope nothing else needs to be replaced!! Just reminding you guys to be careful.

wait.. 4.0's are discountinued so we cant get parts from them anymore?

Man... why did they stop making the 3.0 and 4.0. That sucks a lot. They were selling for REAL cheap and now they don't have jack for them and the gun itself anymore. I wonder if they were making enough selling the 3.0 and 4.0 for only $100 - 110.

Unless I misunderstood the guy,that's what he told me. I would think the new 5.0 & 6.0 would use some of the same parts...maybe not. Well hopefully someone could confirm this. I hope I'm wrong!

Actually when I bought my 4.0 from paintballwizard,he said that's why they dropped the price so much. JT was clearing out the inventory to make room for the 5.0 & 6.0. The dealers were getting great prices and ordering a bunch. Thats why everybody was pushing to sell them,especially on e-Bay....

wow ... maybe hte 5.0 will have the same parts.. i havn't heard anything about it.. but the 6.0 is jt's low end semi.. man that angers me.. i have this crappy marker that has a new problem every 2 weeks and now they cant replace it because they discountinued em
