Okay, heres the deal. I've done paintball for bout 2 yrs and he's done it for 1. He says his stock black dragon will whoop my my cocker in ROF, and range. My cockers got hinge frame, flame trigger, and stickies. I run a 9v while he doesnt even run electric hopper. Which one in ur opinion is a better marker?

first... how many people do you see thats been playing for a couple of years have a plastic trigger frame. nuff said. It might can shoot faster but the range will be the same. Tell him to suck on it

Sounds to me like your friend is an idiot.

Cocker has range beat by a long run. No arguement there. Now on tHe ROF he could maybe pull faster than you. Unless you are skilled in you fingers. Overall cocker is like 10 x better. If i was you i would rub this forum in your friends face. LOL BLACK DRAGONS SUCK HA HA HA!!!

The black dragun may have you beat as far as ROF goes, but unlike his gun, yours won't fall apart after a few thousand cycles. :D

oh and about the plastic trigger frame comment.... have you ever held a stock cocker.... do you know what the trigger frame (on newer modles) is made of?

composite

same as

plastic.

It's stronger plastic, and the triggers aren't plastic tey are steel.

All paintball markers at the same velocity shoot the same distance unless you have a z-body or a flatline.

If he isn't running an agitating hopper then you've got him beat in all areas, without the hopper he'll either chop balls or not get more than 4 or 5 a sec, so he might be able to shoot air or chop balls faster than you.

no it doesn't it all depends on the bolt and the barrel. Shoot a tipp with a 8 in barrel then put a 16 boomstick on it and you can easily tell the difference with a swithc of a barrel

stock cocker has better range. But i don't know much abiout either but if i had the choice bewteen the 2 i would go autococker

and if he doesn't have an electric hopper there is no way he can the only thing a black dragon has over a autococker is ROf and without an electric hopper no chance

How can one person be so wrong?

The barrel has nothing to do with your range, nor does your bolt. Accuracy depends on paint/barrel match and consistency. The more consistent your gun, the more accurate it will be. Autocockers are most consistent that Black Draguns, therefore, will more accurate.

Also, without an agitated hopper, your friend will have quite a mess on his hands.

BTW, some of you are correct on different things, a ball leaving a barrel at 300 fps will go the same distance in a 10 inch as a 14 inch, main difference that the extra barrel length (and a good match for boresizes) will help stabilize it more giving it better trajectory therefore it doesn't do the 20 feet away random turn straight into the ground, catch my drift?

As for your friend, he will chop a ton of balls without a revvy. with a revvy the drag is prolly faster.

As for you people who are slamming the drag, how about you not make fun of the drag, I agree its a worse gun, but just maybe some of us aren't rich like you guys. It's a cheap alternative, no doubt, but when thats what you can afford, its not a bad gun.

Ya I agree, I mean it's an electro for under 200 dollars, what else do you want?

Heck it's cheap enough, I might just get one and modd the heck out of it!

Why do you think stingrays are popular?

i cant stand little punks that insist that their gun is wayyy better than yours.. for instance:

my friend has a stock spyder shutter, and i have a tippmann 98c w/ pb xcore xpansion chamber, rocket cock, psycho ballistics drop forward, drilled holes in feeder elbow, and flatline barrel.

my friend swears that his spyder shutter is the best thing ever, and that my tippmann is a 'fisher price' gun. what a moron.. we are playing tommorrow, and im gonna shoot him from 8 lightyears away, and we'll see who's is better.
