White Spirit Ok for Cleaning?

Im just about to clean my paintball gear and was wondering if White spirit is ok for cleaning my gun ect, I got a wgp auto cocker pro (mech) and just wanted to double check, I normaly just use hot water but it normally takes me ages to get rid of all the grease/oilyness from the paint and dirt any info or advice would be great.

You could use it to clean the outside of the marker but I wouldn't use it on the inside.

I would just use hot water and soap, thats if its all taken apart, i have some special cleaner for gear, takes off all the oil and grease. PM me if your interested.
