One of the holes where I screw in my solenoid into my body has been stripped, which causes a leak. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem without the need to drill and tap it? I thought about epoxy but that would make it permanent.

I have another problem with the solenoid, the connector wires both ended up coming off. I've tried soldering them back on, but it doesn't sound like its clicking. Is there something weird with the way the wires go on? I know i got them put back on correctly because I looked at my other solenoid to check.

When I had my Shocker, I broke one of the screws holding the noid to the manifold and I just had it using the one screw. It worked fine actually, sucks you didn't have the same luck I did. Maybe you could sue Blue LocTite somehow. It's not permanent but should hold.

And again, same thing happened to my Impulse, one of the wires came loose on the noid. My bro is an electrician and I asked if he could solder it back on but he told me that if he did it wrong it could basically break the whole thing, so he didn't want to attempt it. Hopefully that isn't what happened in your case.

i'm betting that solenoid is gone. it was really old anyway. good thing i had two impulses. i ended up switching everything out for now. the biggest problem is that body with the stripped holes is a milled body that i really prefer.
