The only thing that it does not mention is if the board comes with a chip or not. Judging by the link, the chip is sold separately.

Although the boards pictured on the site do not have chips installed, I would suspect that a SD DMT chip is actually included - if no chip were included, there would be no point in listing the boards modes, as the chip chosen by the user would dictate what modes were available. The price is also considerably higher than their boards that don't come with chips installed.

Yes, it is a good price (although I don't personally like the way that the NXL code works on the SD chip), but that wasn't my point. What I was trying to say was that the price, and description, would appear to indicate that the chip would be included. Some of their boards are priced as low $30 without a chip, which is why I referred to $80 as considerably more expensive than a board without a chip.
