Suggestions/Complaints on Rebel Xtreme '02?

I'm consdering buying a Rebel Xtreme 2002. Right now I just have a pretty basic Piranah G2 Bottom Line and I'm looking for something a little better.

How does the rebel xtreme compare? I've heard some complaints regarding ball breakage and the stock barrel, and some cold weather issues.

Cold weather playing is important here - I live in southern Canada, not much snow in the winter but the weather tends to be cooler - last time I played the piranah just chopped all the paint and it pissed me off :)

Should I go for the rebel.. or something different like a spyder? I don't want to spend too much, but nothing newbie (like Brass Eagle :eyes: ) either.

I was in the same boat you were... Through post and replies to my messages, I have come to conclusions that the Spyder Java Compact 2 in 1 is better.. Great all around gun. It may even be cheeper the the Xtreme.. I would stay away from the rebel. I hear it breaks the balls and leaks the Co2.. Not a very pleasent mixture.. I'm about to order my Java Compact 2 in1 pretty soon.. I think I'm going to go with the blue one.. Looks a lot better then the red. The red looks almost pink to me.. Don't want that! Let me know what you end up with.. But yea, I would go with the Spyder Java Compact 2 in 1 if I was you.. That's what I am gonna do..
