OH, and another thing. this is my first time in the BE forum and I'm seeing way too many closed threads. just leave them open. if people dont want to read something, they dont have to. and the reason why people are attcking BE is because its true, BE doesnt make good quality stuff. Try this, dont close any threads for a while. It wont hurt anything.

People come to these threads to learn about BE products. Not to see their stuff being bashed by other players who think they are somehow better than the BE owners because they have more expensive equipment or equipment made by other companies. Ever watch the movie Bambi? "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" I hate to quote a Disney movie here to make a point on a paintball forum, but it's true. If you want to post opposing views on BE products then fine go ahead, but when people come in here saying ignorant stuff like "BE suks becuz i have a cocker and its bettr!" that's when threads start getting closed down.

I moderate this forum, I am the one that closed those threads, and I will continue to do so if it needs be.
The rules are simple, follow the forum rules, and everything flows good. Topics that are very disrespectful to BE users, attempts to bash BE markers, or even topics that could start potential flame wars will be closed, if they are not benficial to the users of these forums, or the users of these markers. This is not a debate forum, if you want to voice your opinion about how crappy a BE marker is, you are not going to do it here.

He closed these thread becuase all these BE bashing morons come in and trash talk BE products. I'm sick of all these BE bashers that come in and say stuff bad about BE. Ok, ok, a talon may not be as good as your super duper 5000XL electro super-cocker. However that is not a reason to go around bashing BE and thier products. BE products are made for BEGGINERS . (with the possible exeption of the rainmaker) So all you punks who think you can come here and just bash BE just for the fun of it, lay off, and if you do your thread will be closed.

so, your saying that i should come in here and basicaly lie. BE products really arnt worth the boxing that they come in. i would much rather tell begginers the truth about BE than to see them lose money buying something that will break after being used 5 times or less. and yes, there are lucky people who manage to get a BE marker that does work for a long time. but most of the time they break. i work part time in a shop/field in washington, and i see SO MANY busted BE/VL guns come in to get fixed. every1 would be much better off buying a spyder or a pmi or a tippmann for their first gun cause they are much more dependable.

It's all in the statement my friend. Saying "BE SUCKS BECAUSE IT"S NOT A COCKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11" and saying "For your first gun I would shy away from a Stingray II, I've seen more then a few break down due to no fault of the owner, the Avenger is a step in the right direction but a Spyder Compact is $80 on the internet and a much better bargain" both state that BE guns aren't the most amazing thing ever, but the second one states it in an amazingly smart and nice fashion. Now I bought a Talon and Blade the other night and they are hilariously fun. I mean they are what they are, cheap pump guns, but if your playing against a bunch of friends with the same guns, they are amazing. When I first shot the talon I was actually amazed that it did as good as it did, due to the fact that people like you sit around and say that are utter pieces of trash when in fact they seem to be fine guns for $20.

Syclone,
you say you work at a paintball shop? and a paintball field? then you of all people should know that your profession demands the promotion of paintball! You need to take the responsibility to help paintball grow. Telling a player that his marker is not worth it says what? Gives the new player an even lower self esteem! It may not be his fault he owns a BE marker, maybe he can't afford something and more expensive then that... if that is the case, so what! help them out man.
Why not look at things from the positive aspect? why not help those who need help, instead of telling them that there is no hope. why not encourage him/her to save money, and and when they do have enough, get something better, and untill they do... help them out for the time being? You say a spyder compact is $80 on the internet. how many new player have a credit card to order online? not everyone's parents are cool enough to let their kids use credit cards. Like specter said, you have to realize that these markers are made for the entry level players. One who is not experience, one who is not sure wether or not they want to pursue paintball seriously.
your outlook on this is terrible, and if that is the advise you give to people who walk into your shop then I feel bad. Your last post is the a perfect example of why i close threads in here... Do not come in here to do so, why not make a positive effort to help instead of degrade.

ok first off, i dont go around saying "your gun sucks" to people in the shop that i work at. i tell kids that they would be better off saving up and buying a better begginer gun like a tippmann that doesnt need a lot of work to keep it going. and you know, its a lot smarter to rent a gun than to buy a BE to see if you like the sport or not. thats what i tell people who are interested paintball. and you know what, a lot more people stay in the sport after renting than there are people staying in the sport after buying a BE. i think BE does more bad than good. they turn people away cause their gun breaks a lot or because their BE/VL paint breaks in the barrels constantly.
ok im not even going to waist my time with you guys anymore. you obviously cant help liking guns that arnt quality and cant perform.

Do they really turn people away from the sport? Or do they simply motivate players to get something new and better? (adding more $$$$ towards the paintball industry, & where does that $$$ go? it's profit for companies like tippmann, kingman, WGP, or smart parts. profit that allows them to produce the higher markers that you shoot, or will eventually shoot)
