Inconsistant 06'borg

I have owned a completly stock 06 cyborg since about mid-last summer so there has definatly been enough time for the reg to break in.
But I still get a very inconsistant reading of about +/-10:confused: . both regs are clean. the HPR right now is at 220-240 i have to have it that high just to reach 85 (paint to barrel has been matched). and even at those settings it jumps all over the place.

The only thing I can consider is getting a LPR guage because maybe i just need to turn the LPR up? But i dont want to blow my solonoid.

The weather was mild also so that can ruled out.

How's your paint quality? All the same size, weight and shape? Fresh, with no dimples or flat spots?

I would break down and clean the lpr and hpr again, use dow 55 on the o-rings in both since dow 55 will make them swell slightly and give a tighter seal. This is assuming you've been using dow 33 and not 55 of course. If you have been you may want to look into replacing the o-rings just to make sure they are fresh.
After that, set the hpr to 220 and no higher. I'm going by recommended PBK rules here with that and it works fine. So 220 on the hpr then set the screw flush with the lpr. Adjust for velocity slowly through the lpr from then on and don't touch the hpr again.
I've done this on my 06 Cyborg for quite a while now and I've checked my ram gauge and I get my lpr between 50-60 psi depening on the day/air temperature. It definately doesn't go higher then that since that's my ball park figures and by adjusting through the lpr you can't blow your noid unless you over crank it. So try all that and see how it goes.

ok thanks, I gotta get some dow 55. do i put it on all the orings in the LPR/ram assembly?

Edit-I went to two hardware stores today and none of them had any DOW lubercants just white lithuim grease. Is white lithuim grease the same as DOW 33? and where on the internet can i buy somthing like DOW 55?

White lithium grease is very bad for o-rings as it'll start eating them basically, don't use it. Paintballkingdom.com sells dow 55 so check there though.
And the LPR, HPR, and Ram body can use dow 55. I put dow 33 on the ram o-rings itself but you can put dow 55 on it if you want too since the manual does say to use dow 55. And consistantcy differs from marker to marker and reg to reg, mine gets +/- 2 over the chrono. My 07 is a different story right now.

Dow is your only choice for the borgs really unless you want to use Hater sauce. Some peopel say it's too runny for regs though. Dow is more tacky.

Alright thanks, all go get some DOW 55. First I gotta wipe off all the white lithuim grease.

Yes, Dow can be used on all your o-rings. As far as the tri-flow, I'm not sure. I've only gotten the bottled one honestly.
