Hey, i just wanted to clear something up with Angel lcds and leds. I have an led and my bro has an lcd. the led is better reliability wise because you have less things that can go wrong with it. the lcds are good because you know how much battery you have left. you are actually paying moe for fireing modes that you cant even use. i shot my gun and my bros and team mates and i can shoot the fastest and not break paint with my led. i got my 2000 Se Led with dye low rise, dye boomy, dye volumizer, new chip, all new internals and wireing, kapp apacalipse drop, with on/off for a trade with my defiant with freak, and $200. that was a great deal, my defint wasent even working good. and for the lcd you have to pay $1100. If you get an led get the special editin because it has the internals of an lcd. Any angel older then 99 is not worth it because the internals are not that great.

You can always put new internals in older LEDs. I have a 98 LED angel , and it works awesome.

led se and a nitro and i need to know if what he said is true about the internal of a lcd are the same as a led se. and doesnt se mean second edition rather than special edition

SE = Special Edition
You can replace the LPR in an LED with the updated LCD version. That is the only internal component that is interchangable with an LCD. Boards, Solinoids, Bolts, Hammer Assemblies, etc are all different.
There is a performance & efficiency gain by upgrading the LPR.
As for the comments about LED's being "better reliability wise because you have less things that can go wrong with it". That's not 100% true. Both markers basically have the same # of parts that perform the same tasks. More than likely the LCD needed a tune up. Also, LED's had been out for a couple years so the bugs were worked out. At the time of the original post, the LCD was approaching it's 1st year and there were board problem with the early LCD's, just like the early LED's.
