Hi all! Several of our team members have been experiencing a problem with the APEX Barrel and I wanted to see if anyone else has seen this. Our APEX has begun to chop paint and when we took it apart, we noticed small nicks and chips in the rubber tounge. We called BT and they sent all of us new tounges (great service!). Two of us just played another game this weekend and the same thing has happened with our new tounges. We are shooting marbilzer and the paint has been kept at room tempature. So here are a few questions:

1) If a ball brakes, can the shell be causing the chips?
2) Has anyone ever noticed this on thiers?

I LOVE the APEX so this is not a bashing email. Instead, I was hoping someone would have a suggestion or recomendation.

Thanks in Advance!

Curtis

Maybe if you ran a squeege through it, it knicks it just a bit. That's about all I can think of.

Thats what causes it. The tongue is very fragile, what you need to do is take the tip apart and use a baby wipe and carefully clean the tongue. It is a pain but I've only had to do it once. I have an 98 and really don't chop.
