I've been doing some research for a while now. I've read all the reviews on the barrel, and I've read a bunch of different paint reviews to see if it were mentioned, but I never found much information on it.

I recently bought the 14" Linear barrel for my Custom Pro, and the most recommendations I've found for it were Stingers... I went to my local shop and they have them, but I heard they aren't too great.

I was wondering if anyone knows a good paint-to-bore match for it. My local shop has Evil Ultras/Marballizers, Rampage, Stingers, Polar Ice, and a few others that I can't remember but cost more than Rampage/Stingers. Do any of these work exceptionally well compared to others?

Any information at all would be a great help, so thanks for anything.

The blow test. The paint is good if it doesn't roll out easily and if all it needs is a small blow or push down the barrel. Simple as that.

ask the people if you could try one of each paintball and do the blow test to match the paintball size with the bore of your barrel.

i would say blow test or by good paint like PMI Premium in like the 100 pack to see how they react to the shot, thats what i did and i find PMI Premium the best, but if u cant afford that, the guys tricksabove will work fine

I believe your barrel is a .689 bore. Most PMI and Draxxus/Procaps paints should shot fine through it. Keep in mind that paint like Heat, Stingers and even Rampage are at the lower end of the paint spectrum and will be more likely to have large variances in the diameter of the ball and are prone to consistency issues. There's a reason they're cheap. Focus on something like PMI Premium or Blaze and adjust your paint quality from there.

Awesome, thanks! I'll head to the shop soon and see if they'll let me blow test a few. I didn't really plan on getting Stingers since, like mentioned above, they are cheap and they'd probably be inconsistent. Thanks for the recommendations again!
