View Full Version : Open and closed-bolt firing?
If you are in the market for a new gun built around sniping, try and remember that the gun does not make the player. A few things to look for in a sniper marker are reliability, fires from a closed bolt position (for a more accurate shot), the ability to accept after market barrels, and a dovetail for scope mounting.
Is this true, and does the Spyder shutter shoot from closed bolt?

no,
most semi's are open bolt, except the autococker. closed bolt means the ball is in the barrel before the air is released. other open bolt guns, like ur shutter, the front bolt moves the ball into the barrel while releasing co2, which makes the ball less stable and less accurate. all pumps are closed bolt, and a handful of other guns are closed bolt like the shocker.
