This may be a stupid question, but how do I install an expansion chamber on my Tippy 98c?

does it screw into the handle so that i'd be using it as a new foregrip?

yup.
The vertical adapter is a component that will allow gas to transfer through the foregrip area, and into your power tube.
Whatever expansion chamber you attach, will become your new forgrip. You'll likely have to buy a new hose, since the original is liable to be too long once you put your exp. chamber on.


BTW... take your time installing your vertical adapter, because you can seriously damage both your adapter and your powertube/internals if you cross-thread.

Thanks, that helped a lot. I've been trying to figure how it fits onto the gun and if I should try and install it myself or let my friend do it, but I think i can handle it. Thanks again!
