You do not need one with CO2. If you run HPA you may need one. I would not worry about it right now.

as much as I know, it is a small piece, plstic or alumihnum that is in the airhose on stock Impys. it makes your gun "honk" if you dont have it, if you are using hpa. Other than that.....

I have another quick question, what is a strangler?

it is a feed neck with an internal cone thingy that can tighten aroung your hopper neck. You just twist it and it tightens a little. is great if you ahve a loose hopper. same thing as twister feed neck
you have an Impy, or getting one?

No yet:(

I want one really bad. I have already started saving. I think i might get the RAt jr., but not sure if i can wait to have all of the money.

I might just get the basic one with the vert. reg.

Don't know yet :(

yeah, well I got one used for $350. the guy had just sent it in, brand new body, upgraded internals, and some other great junk (reboult reg, and seals, also free manifold) and it had an FRM for vert reg, and a J&J2 piece, love that thing. Serial number 2881. good deal huh? well, just look around in the pbnation electro forum. I saved and saved so I could buy a cocker, then traded it for an Impy. guy had broken it, and wouldnt pay for thedamage, even says he didnt do it. I sold it broken for parts, got $100, had 100, got a loan from my dad, worked out ok. that one was Impy4335, thats where I get my pbreview and pbnation user names from. Rat Jr. is nice, but I couldnt even wait long enough to find a cheap vision, so...

Ya, that sounds like a good deal. The pbnation forum, hum??. I'll have to make a stop over there when i git a little more money. Right now, i have been collecting pop cans, and doing extra chores. Unsuccessful in the job area :(

my neighbors and my parents own 5 acres each. I mow both of them pays ok, about 35 each (total) so during the summer I can usually get around 35-70 a week, depending on grass growth. ps: I'm 12, and work hard for every thing I buy. I'm on this thing, I pay for what I want, even school books. not family meals, but that migjht come soon. for christmas 2 years ago I got a cheap barrel and a remote for my stingray, and a small bag of walmart paint, thats all my parents havebought for me in the way of paintball, i'm not a spoiled brat. I worked for the vulcan-tigershark-stingray-cocker-impy4335-impy2881, and I've had fun the entire way. pbnation.com gets tons more traffic thn here, post ?s there if you want really speedy responses some times. they have FOM, Wolvy, me, Rit, Johnnyrotten etc. pop in the forum,s Im there too, and youll get just as friendly a response there as here, cause were all Impy bros

A little more info on the Flow Restrictor.

They were made for older Impulses to eleminate the honking sound. They are no longer needed in the new Impulses as the design has changed and the restrictor was built into the gun.

Oh, okay, so if i get one, i don't have to worry about no flow restricter. Oh, and what is considered "older" for the Impulse. Is it the serial number?

If you get a new Imp you are correct in that you do not need to worry about it.

Older = lower serial #, less than 5000ish
