Im going to buy a mini soon, i was just wondering if anyone could tell me a good combo of barrel, tank, hopper, or any other acceroies i should add. i was thinking a 14" stiffi, a viewload vlocity, and a pure energy 45ci 4500. i would greatley appreciate your opinions.

i also have 2 questions:1. why is the spyder fasta only 70$ but has a rate of 35bps.
2.what do the two measurement mean for the tank(i know cubic inches and bl sq inch) buy whats the difference between a 45ci and 68? and 3000psi and 4500?

That's not bad. As long as the tank is carbon fiber. I'd look for a Crossfire stubby, though. It's nice, but a bit pricey to say the least, but I like it. I believe it's a 70ci/4500psi, too.

The Fasta will not feed at 35 bps. It's targeted to the newer crowd.

68 ci will give you more room for nitro/compressed air, and will give you more shots.

4500 psi will give you more shots, too. It's the pressure in the tank. Refer to the stickies in the Air Systems forum.

When I get a mini, I'd use a vlocity jr., because its the lightest force-fed loader (It can also keep up with the mini). Also a 45/45 tank, crossfire is great so I would get that (not sure on lightness, but crossfire makes great regs). I would get crossfire over pure energy anyday.
A stiffi is carbon fibre I think, so it would be good for lightness too.

i have a 45/45 lp with a VLcocity jr. and it is really really unballenced. if i hold it behind the gripframe it still falls back to make the ballel point straight up.

So would you suggest more weight at the front or something?

i suggest you get the smallest tank possible. and when i mean small, get stub tank like a 48/4500. it's a little pricey, but you'll be glad you read this. getting a big heavy tank will make your gun waaaay too heavy on the back side making your snap shots tougher.

Yeah. like a stainless steel barrel or something. I have an on/off on my tank which makes it longer so that has a little bit to do with it but even without it, it was still back heavy.

Don't get a Stiffi, that will just make things more unbalanced. I noticed that once I put on a longer barrel things got easier to handle. I recommend a 68/4500. A 45/45 will cost the same and get you less shots. Thats like paying the same for a 1/2 gallon of milk as you would a full gallon.

You need to put some weight on the front of that marker.

yeah but the 45 is obviously smaller and weighs less, it really depends on which ui vaule more wieght and mobility or number of shots, i mean i hav never run out of air in a game on my 45/ 45 but i assue if u play a bak or possibly midi ud want summin a lil bigger

I don't carry enough paint on me to run out of air in a single game anyway. Plus i like the size and feel of a 45/45. And if you just get a 68/30 then its the roughly the same amount of shots.

Depends on what you play(xball/7man/etc).But I personally recomend a 68/45 no matter what position you play. It lets you have those extra shots when you need them, and 68/45 tend to be easieer to resell.

on my mini i have an empire which doesnt even have to work to keep up with the mini. for a barrel i have a sly. the sly is amazing it makes it so much quieter. and as far as the tank goes, i use either a pmi 45/45 or a dye throttle air 70/45. now both work great but the 70/45 only works if you hold your gun right so........

Silver Mini
Vlocity Jr. w/Select Chip
Draxxus 68/45 Carbon Wrapped Tank
Proto Tank cover

Fast
Light
Awesome

The V Jr keeps the weight down and rips w/the select force chip

The Draxxus tank is about 3/4 inch shorter than standard 68/45's puts more weight forward (comes High pressure-850 or low pressure-450) both will work

It's a great Package

Backup/Scenario:

MR2
Trinity Barrel
Coiled remote w/slide check or
Reversed tank with CP on/off ASA (Depends on the field)
Custom made Dropbackward mount
Alamo City O-ring Low Blowback Delrin Bolt

My setup is

VL junior

crossfire LP 45/4500 tank

This is one extreamly light setup, I let a friend use my gun in one game and he just ran around the field shooting it with one hand.

Needless to say He did not use it anymore :dodgy:

well i have pretty much the set up that you are talking about except i have a junior and a 68/4500 PE tank. I love the set up its light i cant really feel a balance problem on the gun. I actually like the PE tanks instead of Crossfire tanks. I can really tell a difference in the regs. The Stiff! barrel is a good investment it is more accurate then anything i have ever used, but i wouldnt be worried about the amount of shots on this thing it is super efficient.

CP makes the lightest tanks on the market. Grab a 68/45 it will be lighter than the 45/45 but will help with posture and stance. VLocity jr is light, but they are bad on batteries; I'd go with a halo if it was my choice, bit more reliable in a pinch. If you're going to go carbon fiber I'd definitely get a sly as opposed to the st!ffi.

I like the Magna or Evlution styles on minis. feels most balance with a 45/45. Not that the other ones dont work fine. I just think they are mor balanced that way. Bye the way painguin I am pretty sure they don't make a tadao board for the Mini. Just FYI.

I have had bad experiences with halo's in a tourny so i dont really enjoy them too much. The sly is nice but i like the stiffi. and the cp tanks are amazing i wish i would have bought one instead of the PE i have :dodgy:.

An alternative for air systems is the Invert/Empire 56/4500 - more capacity than a 45 or 48/4500, but still smaller and lighter than the average 68/4500.

Well daggum look who made a fool of himself again. Sorry about that. Last I checked their official website they didn't have a Mini version yet. Oh well you live and learn.

Entirely forgivable - you won't find it on the Tadao webpage, so if you keep an eye there (as I do - waiting on the E-Blade Yakuza), you'd not know that they had been released (it's been on their news pages that they were developing one, but it never appeared on their site). As I understand it, KEE are distributing this themselves, rather than Tadao selling it.
