Hey I was hoping some one would help me out here - I just bought my A-5, and a double trigger by Dead on Paintball - and after installing it - I'd cock the gun - try to fire - but nothing would happen - the gun doesn't fire... It only fires if I leave the handle loose, and move the front of it down a bit - just below the front stripping pin on the handle - I don't get it - and its starting to drive me nuts :pissed: ?!@#

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like the trigger isn't engaging the sear. Is there any sort of travel adjustments fort he trigger? I had a similar problem with my e-grip, and there was a set screw I had to adjust.

None that I can see - the double trigger and the stock trigger are absolutly identical appart from the trigger itself (one being double and other single obviously) and its not the length of trigger - I tried without the hand gaurd and still the same thing. the trigger doesn't feel like its making contact... I can hold it by itself against the gun and it'll fire - but not when I put the handle on... I might try to wedge something in there - maybe thats the problem... thanks tho

** Update ** Damnit... did't work... so nasty review by me?

Are you talking about the trigger guard? If so, it sounds to me like your stock trigger guard will not let the trigger travel back far enough to trip the sear. You may also have assembled something wrong with the trigger’s sear tripper assembly.

Does your A-5 have an RT or e-grip installed?

No I don't have an RT or E-grip - and I tried using the trigger without the gaurd and it still doesn't fire... I put the trigger on exactly like how the stock one is placed - I dunno if it should be on in a different way - theres no directions with it so thats my best guess... I'm tryin to post pics but apparently I have to post more then 5 times

**Edit** I found instructions on the tippmann website - but I followed those to a tee and its still not firing.. wtf? lol
