The directions for the Lasoya were piss poor. I am not good at tinkering yet and didnt want to mess up my new toy. There were two places to screw in the airline and I couldnt figure out what one was which or if they were different. I just didnt want to chance it.
I have two local stores that are both close to my house. The one guy i LOVE but he gets real offended if i dont buy stuff off of him. I bought this gun of some hugely popular auction site and didnt want to egg him on so I brought it to another. I was happy when I walked in to see some regular promasters on the wall. I asked him about them and he was not very high on ICD, and said something to the effect of they are old and that the two promasters have been sitting there since he open the shop =(
I asked him to put the ASA on and hook the airline and he said no guartees I am going to do this much better then you. But since I figured he doest it for a living I let it go and let him do it. Now I am just sitting here hoping that things work out

So he *****es if you dont his ****? What a little baby.
Putting on a rail/drop doesnt take much skill. Its kind of common sense, too.

Just wanted someone to make me feel better =)
I was more then dejected coming home yesterday and was looking for some support from others who had promasters. I picked up today and he said all was well. There was a leak he said but we fixed with an new or ing. He also said there was a slight leak in the barrel but that seemed to go away. I saw a thread on here about that and I want to look it up.
I was just really unhappy with the manual that came with the gun, it couldnt cover any less if they tried.

when i first read his name, i thought of a good bratwurst. You, sir, first thought of something phallic. Who's the suggestive one, now?

You can print a better manual of icd homepage for the promaster they are pretty much the same. Other than that the gun rocks once you get the kinks out. Don't be down on it until you get to use it then you will change your mind. Trust me it changed my mind really quick.

Yeah I am starting to feel better, the asa is on, and I got the grip off, put in the battery, and got a little familiar with programing this board.
I decided to go with the Halo B with rip and v35 board. I also think i have to get a feedneck, I am looking at one on eBay, if not I am going to buy the on linked on here.
I am still reading and learning about the regulator, which I want to fully understand before I put on my hpa tank.
I also have some knobs on there I am trying to figure out, like the one directly below the barrel but I am getting it.
I have learned how much I really have no clue what I am doing since i got the gun. I started getting really comfortable with my old tippmann and thought everything was going to be that simple :dodgy:

the knob right below the barrel is the LPR, it supplies air to the ram.
Anyway you're doing the right thing by reading everything and making sure you know how to use the gun before running air through it. Its easy to figure out, just very different from a tippmann.

Yeah its rough not taking it out and shooting but I am really trying to take it slow and learn as much as possible. I will order my feedneck and halo b tomorrow and see where that takes me.
Just reading this forum saved me from having some guy at the local store selling me an ion feedneck and telling me its the same thing, so i am happy I am being kind of a wuss to start. I want the promaster to love me as much as i love it =)
