10-12 in are for front to mid players doesnt use as much gas either, comes out quiker
14-16 in. mid back lil ball lagg but more accurate but uses more gas
i dont recomend 18 in. but they are for back players only and have some ball lag and use a lot more gas

most of the guys i play with use 10 to 14 in barrels. anything over that you dont need (just lose distance) trust me 14 is the longest your going to want to go.

you can pick your size... but it is a two piece barrel... well... technically three piece.
with the full kit, you get 1 front, 1 back, 8 inserts. there is an additional back you can buy (ss) and different tips too... if you buy a 10" freak kit... you can buy an additional tip.
so technically, you can have all 8 inserts, both backs (aluminum and ss), all the front lengths (10, 12, 14, 16 I think.. maybe 18.. I dont know) you can get the fronts both in regular style, and all american style... I have a 10" freak kit, with a 14" all american tip.

I hate to tell you guy's, but The length of the barrel does nothing. Im may affect accuracy, but it would be such a tiny margin, that you couldn't notice, even if you tried.

i know that the length of the barrel dosnt make much of a difference but at the same time you dont want to have a barrel that sticks out a foot and a half! i have always recommended between a 10 and 14 in barrel. its easier to tuck and work around objects!

I made that post mainly based on Tourney_wannabe's statement.

I personally use 12" and 14" barrels. Shorter than that and I can't aim my marker properly. I just can't see down the barrel. 16" and bigger is just to cumbersome. My favorite is 14".
