Some of my friends and I are thinking of starting a tourney team. Summer is coming and we are all really into paintball (cep for 1 of us, we are all new, only 3-4 months in the sport) How big should our team be? 3 or 5? What would allow us to play in most local tournies? What is the most played team size?

What type of tips can you offer for tournies? Are there any tricks on the smaller tourny fields we should know of? Are the fields built certain ways and give shooting angles we should know about? How should we survey the field before playing on it?

Not counting our guns and individual skill, are there any big things that vet teams would know about tourney play in general we should know?

What should we practice? Is 1-2 practices a week enough if that's all we can fit in?

We don't have alot of money, so shooting 2000 balls a week practicing is out of the picture. The guys we have are all pretty good, but I am convinced that our potential is very high...

Any tips would be appreciated...don't feel like reading negative posts, so only if you have constructive ideas post plz.

Thnx in advance

Too many questions, I answer afew: Get a 5 man team, most turnies are 5 man. I don't know what you mean by "what would allow us to play in local turnies". Tips, teamwork! work together and you should do alright. I don't know of any tricks. Fields go randomly, designers don't give one side a better angle than another. Walk the field, check terrian, angles, field of view, etc.
Vet know how to walk the field. Talk to vet team and ask what they look for. 1 practce every 2 weeks!
I answered basically all of them, this is only to give you an idea, I hope this helps you in some way.
