Valve disassembly.

I read the sticky and it said to use a vinyl rod to remove the valve.

I have no idea what that means, or if I need a special tool. It jsut said don't use metal.

I am pulling the guts out of my powertube so I can replace it with a nice metal, non-cracked one.

Any advice?

Are you trying to get the valve out of the power tube? If so, all you need to do is bang it on a hard surface to loosen it, and use a long rod to push it out(I guess a non metal one?).

But if you're trying to take the valve apart. I have no idea, I would also like to know this, for future reference.
