Question is pretty vague, to you include companies owned by Brass Eagle, like JT and View Loader. If so the JT Excellerator 3.0 and 4.0 are supposedly great guns( I have not used one so I can't recommend them whole heartedly) The JT subforum of BE might be of help there. The Viewloader Genesis is the same gun as the Avenger but with an expansion chamber and is rear cocking, so it seems to be a better buy then the Avenger. The higher end VL guns are wierd, and i haven't played with one so I can't compare them to anything else. If you want more info on the Avenger specifcally, a friend of mine has one, it leaked after a game, but i've heard Spyders do the same thing, the trigger frame is amazingly comfortable and I could lay down some decent fire. The problem is a lot of the internals seem to be made out of plastic, but I think that if you got it you could slowly replace the parts with Spyder parts(valves and such) and slowly end up with a higher end Spyder like gun if you wished, it would be cheaper then building a Spyder from scratch and the body of an avenger looks 10x cooler then that of a Spyder.

Will spyder parts fit the BrassEagle Avenger?????????
And....is it worth the time and effort amd trouble of Selling my BrassEagle Avenger or trading it in for a Tippmann model 98??????

I'd say yes, it's definitly worth selling your Avenger and buying a Tippmann.

yes the avenger is a good gun, yes it is Spyder threaded no it doesnt break easily (unless you get a crappy one) mine hasnt busted paint in about 9 months.

I'm pretty sure Avengers fit Spyder valves and such, but I am not sure, someone with an Avenger please say something. My brother would trade an Avenger, or that matter, most Spyders for a Tippman 98c, I got him a Spyder Compact with a little work on it and he likes a Tippman 98c a lot better due to its size and shape, it's all a preference thing.

The best BE marker is the Rainmaker. My friends and I have played with every marker BE makes and the Rainmaker is undoubtedly the best. The next best thing in my opinion is the JT 4.0 which you can buy pretty cheap right now because JT is closing them out.

Very true, i forgot to include that class, the JT markers are pretty good from what I've heard, i would advise going in the JT forum and asking around, but for the price they have a lot of nice features.

Yeah, the Rainmaker is the best BE gun hands down. It's maybe even one of the best guns....everything else BE makes I'm not too terribly fond of. That's all I'm gonna say.

I'm new to this sport and just got an "Avenger" for my birthday. From all my research and going to the local paintball shop, it seems like I can upgrade my gun with almost any kind of aftermarket accessory. Granted this gun doesn't have all the bells and whistle that the others come with but it seems like a pretty solid, STANDARD ISSUE gun. Easy to take apart, easy to clean, basically no bull get the job done type.
When visiting the pball shop I looked at the expansion chambers. They definately fit my gun. So that will be an upgrade in the future along with a new longer barrel. I bought 200 balls went through all of them without one breaking. We'll see what happens in battle though.
