I got the mini for its size and weight. Plus the fact that there is no hoses to worry about leaking or breaking and the only wires inside is the battery harness wires and the wires going to the solenoid but they seem to more durable then some wires in other guns.
And you kinda have to take a chance with the barrel kit because there is no specific measurement for autococker threads so some barrels slightly differ from one another. The best thing to do is try to either find someone with a mini and put your kit on it or find someone with both and see if it works.

As time has gone by the outer size of the barrel thread shaft has reduced slightly. That is to say that the reciever and the barrel had a certain amount of wiggle room in thier match. Some manufacturers went large on the barrel thread shaft to get a tighter connection. Eventually the recievers just ended up at the smalest bore that was within spec. The older the barrel, the less likely it is to fit.
My old freak back did not fit, but my ancient stainless steel boomstick fits no problemo.
If the kit you have fits other cocker threaded recent markers like the DM series or newer timmies then you will likely be ok. Best case scenario is to take a back to a shop that has a mini and check for fit there.
I find that i reall like the feel on the mini and I can rip it really well on semi. The HES (hall effect sensor) trigger is easily adjustable and extremely responsive. I would actually preffer a slicker surface on the trigger and less side slop, but it really doesn't effect its walkability.
My 2 year old daughter can walk the trigger. Ungassed, eyes off, unloaded in any way of course.(her grandathers eyes almost popped out of his head when I showed him)
