can the mini work on CO2? i was just wondering because looking at the price of the N2 tanks i dont know if i want to get it... i was also looking at the icd promaster and the pmr so if someone can tell me if they work on CO2 that would be helpful... but i would really like the mini...

but my only concern is that i wont get that many shots out of the gun... i read one post, "One BKO on CO2 thread to rule them all," (jmtilton i think)and it said that you could with a regulator or something like that, but it kinda confused me... but if the CO2 doesnt work then i might have to go for the Kingman VS2... if i could find a cheap tank that could last me all day i would be happy, but the N2 tanks are way too expensive to be buying 2... and when i play me and my friends play both woodsball and speedball for a couple of hours...

ya there talking about an anti siphone tube for co2 tanks dont use it.......ued be wasting ur money on a spider big time..........i do the same thing u do play at peoples houses i agree its cheap n i see you wory get the mini and thats tank you will get like 800 shots prably out or the min ........do that but use ur old gun while u play woodsball because you dont need the high rate of fir and get you co2 filled for that gun so half the day is a goon gun and half a not so good gun

n sarry for my bad spelling lol

Not a problem. This forum really needs a spellcheck feature.:dodgy:

To the OP.
I just got a 50/3000 worgass off ebay for 34 shipped.
Yeah, crazy. i know. Some tard sold like 25 at once. No competition let everyone get a tank for cheap.

Co2 is not a good thing for any EP. That includes a promaster.
It is just an expensive breakdown waiting to happen.

An old scuba tank and fill adapter can be gotten for reasonable prices. Expecially when compared to the price you would pay for a Co2 fill setup.

Cruise places like craigslist and such and you might find a deal and a half on an old scuba tank.

There is no bottomline or anything on a mini.... so any liquid CO2 that gets out of the bottle goes straight into the regulator, there is no room for it to expand. This would kill the reg very quickly.

well, thx for all of your help guys... you have helped me a lot in choosing the mini as my next gun... only thing i need now is some cold hard cash and ill be good to go! lol  Edit: one final question... would you recommend me buy my stuff from actionvillage.com or some other site?

If you know HOW to handle co2... MOST markers CAN BE USED WITH CO2....

Now... If you need to ask the questions... Than I would HIGHLY suggest against trying it...

Also, for the proper setup, its cheaper to just buy an HPA tank...

If you have your heart set on a mini, I could prob. Get you an amazing deal on the marker and tank, brand new... Pm me...

sure co2 isnt going to hurt the vs2 like co2 would hurt the mini, but your not going to be happy using co2 on it. At higher rof, even in semi, the co2 is going to make your have drop off and incomplete cycles that can cause chops. Similar to my pmi evo. It dont like co2 unless your 1 fingering it.

Whoa, the lack of spelling int his thread amazes me. I think the Department of Education is sending an investigation team.

Any liquid co2 that gets in your mini goes straight to your bolt, which acts as your reg, which frezzes your bolt, o-rings and you'll get mad shootdown, your noid will have issues and your mini will be toast.

No CO2

i did think of one final question... i heard that the fiber wrapped tanks are kinda fragil... like if they hit something too hard the might burst open... is this true?

If you hit it really hard, it is possible, get a tank cover.

I've heard anything bigger than a 45ci/4,500psi tank gets uncomfortable with the Mini, and 88ci tanks are already uncomfortable with most guns.

The thing is a CF tank might not burst open when you hit it. Though you shouldn't be hitting it in the first place. If you damage the tank, it is unsafe to use and you will need a new tank. Something like glass fiber tanks will certainly break if you hit them pretty hard. Fiber wrapped would be a bit harder to break, since they have have a fiber matrix-thing.
CF tanks might not be as tough as aluminum tanks, but they are not exactly "fragile." You can get covers too. They only protect against scratches and dings, which is better then nothing.

sure co2 is bad, but this made no sence to me. How is the liquid co2 going to go strait to your bolt? And how does the bolt act as your reg?
