hey everyone, im looking for a good reg that works fine with co2. I dont want a palmers because I dont want the hose running from the asa to the middle of the handle. im looking for a reg that allows co2 to enter from the bottom of the reg, any ideas?

also a bit interested in horizontal female regs to replace an asa

a palmers female is a good idea. The tippmann techline is for sale for 25 dollars on ii sports, it is a bottomline reg that works decently with co2. 2 other regs are the wgp sto reg and wgp stock inline reg, one would be 40 or 50 the other 90. Keep in mind, the wgp stock is only internally adjustable.

does sto stand for anything? a quick search for reviews didnt find anything, are tippmann regs any good?

special tournament operations is sto, doesn't really matter, myself for co2, i'd go with a palmer's stabilizer, i don't really trust anything with co2.

yea but i cant use palmers, the hose coming out of the middle/top of grip would drive me insane, id rather use an x chamber :P

Palmers are the only practical reg to use with co2. They are the only proven regs to work really well with co2. Thats what I would recommend even if you don't want it.

I have ran my cocker on co2 for a good while, and have had no trouble using co2 on the reg. If you really want to go with an expansion chamber, then do it, but it isnt the best idea in the world.

I dont really i just dont want a reg that has a host sticking out of the middle. call it a pet peve of mine but it will drive me nuts while playing. i want a reg but only if the co2 comes in the bottom...

What about a palmer's female as a bottom line ASA?

considering it, but I have only seen it on one marker before and it looked awfully goofy. if anyone has a pic of a setup that looks decent show me and maybe ill concider it (the spy must hate me because I choose looks over performance lol but its my baby and the performance is good enough on a stock m98 for the way I play., its nice to have some more consistancy but really its not life or death for me, :P ive been using a stock custom pro with an apex modded winforce barrel until last month when I got a Tacamo sight rail and a car stock. cosmetic upgrades mostly :P figured id try for something for some consistancy. things like an egrip are useless to me and i hate hpa so theres not much else in the way of performance upgrades anyways :P

Just buy an air tank.

EDIT; Why would you use Co2 over HPA? Its cleaner, cheaper andmore consistent,BUT if you cant bare the thought of it buy a regulating ASA

Lol I know, your about performance and the win, Im all about having fun :) Id rather have my butt owned and have a blast then win ina boring game :P

for eppstar, I liek co2, I have 2 co2 fill stations, I like the efficency of co2 and that I dont need huge ginormous tanks. I like being able to go and get 40lbs of food grade cos for dirt cheep. I have about 20 co2 tanks and I like to keep everything co2 so I have less hassle, less weight and more shots per tanks. Big bulky innefficent HPA tanks bother me. Ive yused one before for a few games and I didnt even notice a difference, why use hps which is heavier and gives less shots and is way mor emoney when you dont need to? sure peopel who spend lots of monety on it dont want to admit they wasted moneys o they willd efend it to teh death, but after using both I find it a usel;ess upgrade, much like a LPK, not worth the money,.
