I need someone's help. I just got in a new stock valve for my 98 Custom and installed in my gun. Everything fit right and I put teflon tape around the hose and screwed it in. When I screwed the CO2 in it began to leak, I could not tell where it was leaking from, but it was from the valve. Just to see if it would work I cocked it and fired, even though it was leaking it recocked and continued to fire, but with a little bit of sputtering here and there. Could someone please help me out with this problem...

The sputtering just sounds as though I am running low on air and sometimes it won't recock, most of the time it does and yes it is like 3 shot burst. The sputtering doesn't bother me as much as the leak though, any ideas how to stop it?

find out where the leak is coming from by sprying some water(i think widex might work beter than water) on the valve and look for bubles when its aired up

The recocking issue sounds like a worn sear and/or rear bolt

The leak could just be a busted o-ring on your co2 tank, I'd check those first.

I replaced the o-rings on every part that I could. The rear bolt is also new. I put water on it and it seems to be leaking from the front of the valve.
