Do you think its a good idea for scenario snipers to carry gernades? just in case?

It can never hurt. In the scenarios I play, unless you're a dedicated demolition corp, grenades are the only way to take out a tank.
I've never used a squadbuster, but I hear they're terrible.

I say skip the grenades and have them carry a few cases of paint for everyone.
edit: maybe a big LOL sign too.

I would say have them cary mines and trip wires. Becasue you don't want to give your postion away. Also you could carry a little bag with pint ( liquid paint from a can or crushed paintballs and a paint brush and that could be a knife.:P

I've never found grenades to be particularly effective for most recreational play. More often than not, in scenario play you have props (i.e. Rocket Launchers) that more than do the trick.

Landmine type things make more sense. Heck, even take a few Brass eagle pumps strapped to steaks and set 'um up tripwired like a claymore.
One of these days I'll have my paintball S-Mine (bouncing betty) perfected and you'll be able to order them on here.

the problem with the tippmann grenades is that people forget to SHAKE THEM before useing them.
as for a sniper w/ nades? why bother? if your good at your task then you shouldnt be makeing yourself seen by the tank. just get back or radio the tanks position and youl be fine. so long as no one sees you or hears you.

Remotely Triggered Landmine? or Tripwire Triggered Landmine?

Grenades (smoke or paint) are one of those items you hate to carry, but you curse yourself for not having it when needed.
Those situations are rare, but more common than you think.
As a sniper (for this thread) I can think of one practical (and realistic) situation where a grenade is helpful.
You are in your hiding spot and a large squad is near your position. No cover is perfect and your outnumbered maybe 10-20 per one. Shooting is an option, and so is getting lit up like a christmas tree. A grenade (especially properly and steathfully thrown) could give you a chance.
One last bit of advice. With 24 years under my belt, DON'T USE SQUADBUSTER GRENADES. Use atomic ordanance (now made by tippman) or BT big boy type grenades.

Are we really at the point where we're upping 2 and a half year old threads?
