Okay I was just wondering if a 98 Custom (polished internals, volocity at the lowest) should be able to shoot through 2 peices of cardboard. My friend called me and told me this and I thought that shouldn't happen. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Cardboard: Dry and with nothing wrong
Paint: Brass Eagle

When I'm out in my back yard just plinking around, I've shot through a flat cardboard box. Heh, I've even shot through it with a talon. (Where it's flaps are extended out, and you just press on it to the side, and it folds flat. So, there are two walls of cardboard.) But, I wasn't using brass eagle paint. If you don't want to make a mess, use one box stuffed with crumpled newspaper. Stops all paint from shooting through.

Or, if you want to be super sure you wont shoot through it, you could get a large piece of plywood (or wood of your choice) and make a rather nice looking target that would be reusable too.

I've shot through cardboard, too. It's not a big deal, considering it doesn't take much to put something through a piece of cardboard.
