I was shot in the back...twice in one game in the same spot. You're probably thinking that getting shot in the back isn't so bad, but when i got hit again, it really hurt. Both times i was shot by a tippmann with the velocity around 260

why is 260 bad? unless it's too slow for the ball to break. getting hit on top of the head and in the neck is quite painful, i got a pretty big welt too. i've gotten used to getting hit int he fingers, i only have 1/2 finger gloves so it breaks my skin 3/4 of the time, i don't mind it's not deep, but i'd say bare skull is the wost. so i wear a t-shirt on my head, as i like to put it, taboo style

once i got shot in the trigger finger. the worst part was the ball didn't break it just stuck in between my finger and the trigger guard. (one in a million occurence) i had to depress the trigger in order for it to come out and i accidentally shot a ref who was coming over to see what happened. i hit him in the chest..

p.s. it was my very first game, and my firt time being hit...hows that for traumatizing?

i was in a squatting position behind a fairly small bunker for about5 minutes and my quads were seriously burning and i was waiting for some movement, then a guy pops out from behind a tree and nails me in the quad. that was some pain, that same day i got hit in the finger about 4 times. the most painful place i've ever been hit is the skull from about 20 feet, so now i always wear something on my head. i think the worst part about getting hit in the fingers is when it gets all goopys and in between your fingers is convered in paint, shells, and blood.

Mine had a funny back story. For weeks I'd been preaching about getting a cup and never did. One day I was playing with a few people and I was using a friends Shocktech Cocker. I depise cockers but this one had something about, oh yeah it was timed properly (something of a rarity where I live). I was at the back bunker laying paint seeing how fast it'd shot. I stopped looked at the gun with suprise looked up only to find a teammate (opposing player at the time) pop up and rattle off at me. The trail of paint started at the right knee and trailed up to my testicles. I fell over on the guys infront of me. I got up got him out finished the game then collasped and cryed like a school girl.

He raised his mask up just enough to do something,,i dont know..but a ball hit him in the eye. He is undergoing like massive surgery to his eye. That sucks....We live in a small town,,so now,,everyone is like "Paintball is sooo dangerous",,I wish he had kept his mask on!!!! well...let me see....i have been fortunate enought not to have experienced the pain of getting shot in the nads...but i have been shot on the top of my head which didn't hurt at all. I have beed shot in the knee-cap from 10 yards away and it was 30 degrees out here in illinois and it didn't break. I walked with a limp for about a week. I also have been shot in the trigger finger which oddly enough didn't hurt as long as getting shot in my kneecap.

Well the ball friggin comes out of the barrel and dives right at his face striking him in the cheek. he was only wearing half goggles for refs (old school gogs) He fell over and just laid there. i got shot in the *** once with a cheap pump that my friend bought, the spring was stiff like crazy, it was shooting almost 400 fps, he was using pmi premiums, and he froze them but didnt tell me. I hate to even mention this, I know it makes everyone cring. Last summer at the Memphis TN big game, I was in a firefight with about 20 guys on a little muddy trail. All the sudden the guy next to me drops to the ground and starts SCREAMING and crying like a little girl. This guy got hit right in the crotch.
So we leave him with the refs and play on. As the game ended, the refs were carrying the guy off the field on a stretcher. He has his pants and underwear completely off, and has a big block of ice on his nuts. I helped carry him up the remaining 100 yards or so, then put him in the pro shop.
I'll tell you this right now. You know you are in pain when you are willing to be naked in front of 400 people. The guys nut had swollen up about the size of an orange. The paramedics came and took him off in an ambulance.
When we went back this Spring, the owner of the field told us that they had to remove his right testicle. He apparently ruptured it when the paintball hit.

I played the other week... I was the last man alive on our team...

I got flanked on both sides, and by another guy straight ahead behind heavy cover.

They all seemed to have shot simultaneously.. I got two in the side of the knee, one in the side of my neck and one paintball I swear used my testicle as a speedbag on the way by...

I was wearing just boxers and loose fitting cargo pants... I could actually feel the ball first slam into my left nut, stretch to the point of breaking then slam into the part of my inner thigh...

Needless to say I couldn't see quite straight through the water in my eyes and I felt like I might puke for the next couple of hours...

It is still a bit sore even now... So even though the other shots which landed first stung.. I think the nutter might have been close to the pain people try to relay about getting gut shot with a real gun...

If your wondering how I new it was frozen I found it in my pants It went through my pants and hit my nuts I was about to kill myself that guy was banned from that paintball place for ever!! If i only ever figured out who he was cause I would go Sh&t kick him!

I got double shot in the left nipple. So now i have a chest that looks normal on the right side ,and on the left i have a brand new 3 inch wide nipple. this thing is killing me.

I've been pretty lucky (i.e. no nut, neck shots yet *knock on wood*). It wasn't so much the place that I got shot, it was the speed at which I got shot. My buddy and I were at Skirmish playing some paintball. We had to fall back because the other team was pushing up the field. Long story short one kid nailed me in lower back...man it hurt. The guy wasn't shooting field paint so I told the ref to go check him out. He wasn't shooting the required paint, and his Minimag was shooting 385fps. Left a nice bloody ring on my back for the longest while.

well, i havent been hurt really. but one of my friends has been hit in the balls twice, both times wearing a cup, and supposedly, it helps, but its still painful, cuase he fell to his nears and i could see him tearing. another time i was using my brothers friends automag with nitro, and the friend who got shot in the nuts, i shot his little brother, with a double feed, one hit him in the chest (nocked the wind out of him), and the other right under his adams apple, he fell backwards and i thought the poor kid wasnt breathing(he was, just shocked). lastly, one of my frineds forgot to say surrneder while popping up behind someone, the guy turned around, and from shock they started firing at 2-3 inches away. my friend hit the guy 5 times in his knee, the guys knee got thicker than hell and he was out for the day. thats some pain.

is it just me, or does it hurt and bruise worse when you hit a fat part of your body rather than a muscled part. for example: i got shot in the gut and it friggin hurt like crazy and left a half moon impact. I got shot in the arm at the same time and it just left a little red mark.
I know that paintball injuries from the paintballs are called compression injuries. So basically your skin acts like a mini trampoline when the ball hits. I guess the fat area would go in further and hurt more than the muscle area.

Flash can attest to this hit...I was playing at he local field and I jumped up on a car to shot down at like 6-7 people camping in a bunker and shooting out the windows...I got most of them but just as I was getting off the car a guy ran out the door, put his gun against my ribs just under my arpit and fired...low life mother f****r...I had the welt for 3 and a half months...seriously...it was nasty...the pain on impact was so much I no longer cared about the game...something that cheap required imediated retaliation...so as he ran past I gave him four in the back...
