I have a question about barrel cleaning. What do u do once ur done play paintball and ur at home cleaning ur barrel, do u have to clean the little holes that spiral around the barrel? If u do what do u have to do, wash it out or some how clean each individual hole? or does it really matter about those little holes if they are clean enough?

thanks for the help its my 4 time paintballing and i want to maintain all my gear.

lol wow
didnt they cover how to clean it in the manual
you get a squeegie
or a stick with a paper towel and ram it through the barrel
and than i finish it off by watering the insides
and run another stick and paper through it
now you got a sparkly clean barrel:D

I wouldn't recommend using paper towels...it's just me, but I'm pretty picky with my barrels. They are metal, but the paper towels can still scratch the inside and they also leave little fibers in there. Anytime you have old t-shirts or any 100% cotton material, keep it, and use them instead. I always use 100% cotton fabrics to clean my barrel...it's just like your car...don't use anything besides 100% cotton or you'll scratch it. I just have a little bag and when a t-shirt starts to get ratty looking, I throw it in there and it becomes part of my gun/barrel cleaning kit (obviously I wash the shirt before using it on my gun).

i find the best way to clean the porting is to run it under the tap-make sure you disconect it from you gun first though(one of my friends did this to his gun, had to get a new one as it fried his electrics)

the only other way to clean the porting is to use toothpicks ( not recomended if you have smart parts barrels or any other barrel with over 100 holes)

if the paint is still fresh, hes a e-z way to clean out the ports. make sure you have no paintballs in the hopper/gun/warpfeed. put the barrel point blank at your shoe or some other solid object. fire, and 90% of the paint will come out. whats lefts can be clened by running it under warm water. warned thought, paint will come out of all the ports, so dont do this inside, and make sure your hand/arm is away, because it not, they will have a nice little spiral pattren on them, i found this out from experance. :dunce: :P
