Stock Mini Barrel Comments

I went to the range and shot the stock barrel and a 12" AA front freak barrel with a .689 insert. The paint I was useing was RPS Premium. I found the stock barrel had better accuracy. Thats crazy. Did anyone else find the same results? That the stock barrel was pretty good?

well my AAback dosent werk so i couldnt b all to accurate but all i kno is that i get better accuracy wit my stiffi than the stock barrel and thas all i could tell yah, might wanna do a blo test wit the paint on both the stock and the Freak

The paint might have been too small for your freak barrel. Are you sure that the insert was matched perfectly with your paint? Try a smaller insert.

The stock mini barrel is a larger bore than a .689 so the insert used shouldnt have mattered. I was only a fan of the freak kits back when that was the only kit. I spopped likeing them so much once other companies started getting barrel kits right. Back in the day I couldnt afford the freak kit so I had a few different barrels so I could get a good barrel to paint match.
