What set up will be most balanced on a mini?
I am pretty much open to anything but make sure you mention barrel (+length),
tank, and hopper

Mini is a light gun so the smallest HPA tank out there and a moderate to long barrel (14"-16"). For hopper you want anything that is not back heavy so that would be like a Halo or something along those lines.

As far as barrel is concerned, I'd assume the question will be both a combination of length AND weight. I'd like to see how a carbon fiber would feel, but I don't care for the aesthetics.

different barrels witht he same length may weigh different Thats why I asked for the barrel and the length of the barrel...

But doesnt anyone know of a set up that is balanced like... 48/3000 + Freak + halo? I dont know if that is balanced but i was giving an example.

I find it well ballenced with a 45/45, halo b, and 14" ultralite. But.........coming off my DM5 and E-cocker it is so lite and easy to manhandle ballance is no issue to me. Can't wait to try a CP 45/48 softball tank with it.

Hey I would feel stupid if I started a new thread for my question when its so close to this one. I'm planning on getting a mini and upgrading to HPA and of course the tanks are expensive but I don't know whether or not an aluminum tank vs. a carbon fiber tank would really mess up the balance that much but it would save me about $70. I was thinking a 68/3000 tank the aluminum version 4.2lbs and carbon fiber 2.2lbs I know the mini weighs about 2lbs and I would rather have spent 70 dollars more than wreck the balance of this marker with a cheap tank.

nevermind, I just learned the mini has balance issues with a two pound tank so a giant four pound one is out of the question

Alright stay away from 48/3000. you will end up replacing them in the end.
A 68/45 is worth the extra money. I would drop the freak if you are short on money.

Like i said earlier a 68/45 is worth the extra money. Resale is higher and you never know when you need those extra shots.

My setup is a 45/45-Vel. Jr.-Stock barrel. My buddy let me use his lucky barrel (14") with the same setup and there was no dif. I don't think it matters what barrel you have with a 45/45 and a hopper with a center feed.

My first setup was a Evo-2 and 48/3000 and that was terrible! Sliding into your bunker and coming up for an imidiate shot was a nightmare for aiming.

The weight of the barrel does not matter. How many barrels are even over one pound? Why spend the extra money on a barrel because it's light? If anything, I would try to find a heavier barrel to balance out the weight of the tank in the back. Buy yourself a CP 1-piece. They're only $30, and that leaves you extra money for a good 45/45 Crossfire tank and a Halo or a Vlocity Jr.

unless you can find a one piece stainless steel barrel.
