I was lookin to get one of these two guns. i can get a mini for $350 or an ion pro with ups for about $320. Im not 100% sure what i should get ive held both guns but ive only played with an ion.
1. Which is all around faster?
2. Which one is easier to clean/maintain?
3. Which gun would be better with a total of $420 in it?
Thx

1. Which is all around faster?
Ion 17 bps Mini 20 bps, Mini with the Ape board is a theoretical cap of 40 bps. Plus go google Hall effect sensor. Super easy to rip in Semi.
General question-
Are there any other markers with an HES trigger?
2. Which one is easier to clean/maintain?
Mini is basically a tube with a few parts in it. Very easy to maintain

The mini is 400 retail (i got mine 367ish shipped). The stock barrel is great, a kit is better. Cocker threaded so you have lots of barrel options and if you get a different EP later chances are it will also be cocker threaded. Unless it is a shocker. But for 420 you can get an ANS Razor Ion with a nice HPA tank.
Thx
The mini is a better all around marker in my mind.

Upped with what? the only thing that will up that rate is a new board. What board is in it? Blackheart?

it would have a blackheart board yea but im not really sure what else yet if i got an ion. I really like the mini though. One more question though whats the cheapest i can get a carbon fiber tank for or at least a 4500psi tank. All have now is a 48 3000psi tank. Ive got a HAlo B so no problems with the ball speed.

Thats twice you made a basic statement with no actual information.
Don't take this the wrong way, but do you have problems at the restaurants that don't have pictures on the menus?

Well that will get a few more BPS. I would think a minimum would be a QEV for performance, maybe a bolt, but find out.

You made a second thread about this in High-End Electro.

Hall Effect Sensors are also found in Emags.
An Ion Blackheart board is capped at 20bps, same as a stock Mini.
