Will this QEV kit work for a 98 custom? Is it a good investment and by how many BPS will it increase my cyclone feed by? is there any other mods i should buy for my cyclone.

Yes, it should work depending on the size of hoses you're using. Yes, it is a good purchase. It will increase about 5bps, depending on how well you cyclone is lubed. You'll most likely want to buy a Vortex mod or something similar.

Put oil (be generous) on the plunger and in the cylinder. I like, (some say it's not necessary) to put some type of grease, like lithium grease on the mechanical workings in the cyclone.

Also you maybe interested in the QEPH, it kind of dose the same thing that the QEV dose. It sounds like a good product. They will release the finale product some time around the 20th. They're two reviews up for it now for the beta version.

The QEPH right now, is only out in the "beta version" so there's only about 200 out there, but sometime around the 20th they'll release the final version. They're up for preorder at rockstartactical.com, Techt.com and tippmannparts.com.
To lube you cyclone, you do have to take it apart. The cyclone can sometimes be a little irritating to put back together, but if you've taken your gun apart you should be able to figure it out.
