What is better in your minds, a used sft shocker or a new invert mini. Right now they can be bought for around the same price, and i know you will be biased but what are the pro's and cons of both. Also, how quiet is the mini? does it have any kick? and is it worth selling my upped ion to get a mini? Thanks in advance for your help

Before posting, please read other threads under this catagory. Many different posts have talked about the perks of owning a Mini and the info regarding them. Read then ask.....

hell, I would rather have a used mini than that shocker new. Quit looking at prices when you decide what marker you want. There are too many things that affect price other than performance.

thanks, and i wish the price didnt matter but unfortunitally it does. The mini is a poppet as opposed to the spool valve, right? From what ive heard spools have less kick. Is it significant because I dont like my gun moving when i'm shooting lanes.

Yes, it has a poppit, but not like in other poppit markers. It is a pressure controlled poppit which opens opposite to the movement of the bolt in the other direction when the bolt goes forward. It also closes when the bolt moves back. They cancle out kick when tuned properly. All you feel is a simple vibration as the gun shoots, no kick.
The mini is also the quietest gun I have ever heard dryfire. It is a little quieter when shooting paint and is pretty quiet overall. I have heard quieter guns but the mini is still quiet.

He might need to tune it. My team mates is whisper quiet. I guess it has a sound when firing close to a person, but you cant really even hear it when standing at opposite sides of the field. Unless the stock barrel is loud or something. He uses a sceptor kit. I cant remember ever hearing the stock barrell.

he has a Freak back and an all american front but it is also brand new so maybe it needs to be broke in, he is leaving his settings pretty much stock on it
