removing C02 tank and other sundries

I'm new to PB and finally bought my first marker (used, TL-plus). Since I've always rented markers before, I have a couple of questions about things I have not had to deal with before.

1. How do I "uncock" a TL-plus after using?
2. I always lose a lot of gas when I unscrew the CO2 tank. Is this normal or am I not doing something right?

when you unscrew the tank, you are probably just emptying the air out that was in the gun. That is generally normal. If you think its a big deal, you can buy an on/ off valve for the tank.

If you are uncocking the TL and taking off the CO2, do this:

start to unscrew the tank
as soon as you start to hear air, start firing the gun
continue to unscrew the tank and fire the gun until you stop hearing air, or the gun uncocks

if you are keeping the air on the gun (which I dont recommend), just hold the bolt while you pull the trigger.
