the only thing that i have heard so far is that it cops is makeing it so you cant shot as fast. .:pissed: i guess you can only shot like 8 or 9 balls a sec.

I doibt that is true.
until someone actually shoots an IR3, and sees first hand that it is defictive, dont talk about it (unless they are all recalled or something).

you guys might be reffering to the complaints that the rof is set too low when a ball is not present in the breech. some have said bringing the bolt speed down to 3 bps (max) will throw off your rythem too much.
i'd rather have a thrown off rythem than a barrel full of paint.
i have heard however that the rare the board has similar problems to that of the 2k2 and 2k1 angels (low chrono speed, now rof, slowly turning off) but that would seem to be simply fixed by putting in a new board.
stuff like that is expected for brand new markers, especially with such new ideas.

once the price drops i might pick one up for myself :P

i saw a guy shooting an ir3 yesterday at a nepl tourny it was shooting fine he didn't chop any when i was watching. It seemed that there were no defects and they look a lot better in person.

That is certainly something that would have to be seen to be believed. Cuz dood, that grip frame is as ugly as a 10 cent hooker.

Now I am no authority on Angels, which I aim to change in the coming months, but one word comes to mind when looking at that thing: Ick.

The rest of the gun is beautiful, just put a 45 frame back on it and its perfect. I have no doubts there will be enough demand for it, or someone will just mod one.

As for the rumors... like Phantom said, thats all they are.

Coming from experience with my intimidator, slowing down the rof is quite essential to not chopping. I doubt it will go as low as 3 bps tho. Unless yer hopper is jammed...

I've heard many people have the same reactions as you to the Grip frame. But once they get the chance to hold the gun & fire it. Their minds change. It is a lot more attractive in person too.

Your mind might not change about the looks of the SpaceFrame, but i can almost gaurntee your thoughts will change on its performance.

Just like you said, I liked it. It was a bit wide but other than that I have a hard time imagining an overall more comfortable grip.

Plus it has a more adjustable trigger and infared.

how do you pull DOWN on the trigger?!?!  :eyes:

well you can pull DOWN on the trigger like....i dunno...it might not be DOWN but like diagonally maybe.

Anyway I have a lot of money to burn, and I was going to pick up an IR3, A.I.R., and stuff but i can't find anywhere where it's cheap, and instock. I went to pbgear.com and they have good prices, but they're all out of stock....anyone know where to go?

Keep in mind with COPS, its only going to shoot as fast as your loader will go. If your loader is only feeding around 9 bps, then thats all your marker is going to do.

incorrect, youll shoot as fast as you can i.e 15bps but 15 bps will come out if you are loading 9 bps which will become chop olia

never mind sry 2k1 shooter im a dubmass i was totally wrong

*slap* there i slaped myself

LOL, good cause I'm confused just reading that.

I'm right right? I mean, the COPS slows the marker down (sort of, keeps it from firing untill it's supposed to) to the rate of the feeder? You know honestly, I went through an entire case of allstar today, no chops, no breaks, didn't use my squegie once today on my FLY, I can live with out the cops for now I think. I mean, I was averaging around 10, peaking around 13 today all day. IT IS COOL THOUGH

Hey as far as pulling down, the trigger has different Pivot points that you can set it up for. Thats how I'm guessing you can set it up to pull down (but more diagonaly I'm sure).

The only IR3 i've fired to date was a prototype that was a blender. Granted, it was a proto, but still, considering what it is and whos proto it was, would have expected a better performance.
This one had some other issues though, so I wont outright condemn the IR3.
Trigger pull was straight back, which was kind of tricky to get a good sweet spot on the trigger due to the grip and it sounded like it was running a little hot.
Overall, I prefer my LCD hehe.
I would like to mess around with another ir3 at some point and hopefully revise my opinion.
