there is nothing you can do now but buy a new gun... The gun you have now has reached the max performance level

Ditch that crappy plastic GTA double finger trigger and get either a JCS Duel Trigger or A.P.E. Pro-E Magnetic Tirgger.

These are 100% adjustable, are made of CNCd aluminum, and will give you the feel/walkability of the very high end electric/electro-pneumatic markers. You can and will get a literal mouse click pull distance. For speedball you need SPEED and these triggers, combined with an e-grip WILL give it to you. Its the best upgrade you can get at the moment for your marker, especially for speedball. Install one of those 2 triggers and it will feel and shoot like a brand new and more expensive marker.

As for the barrel, i HIGHLY suggest you get a Palmer Brass Barrel (PPS Brass). It will allow you to shoot pretty much ANY size paintball just like if you were size matching with a complete barrl kit (different backs/inserts). All without needing to change or replace anything. Its, hands down, the best single barrel ever. Plus its only 45-55 dollars. You might want to opt for the 55 dollar version (Black, unported) since it matches your marker perfectly. The 45 dollar version has a plain brass finish.

Wow, i feel like a complete nub, i totally forgat about palmers!!! Thats exactly what the fang trigger is. How much do those triggers run, because the fang is only like 40 i believe. I think im gonna get the nickel finish, because i am getting the nickel stabalizer when i get it and my guns gonna be white so i think it will look pretty good.

No, i am not ditching my tippmann, 1, because everyonce in awhile when i cant make it to the field ill play woodsball with my friends, and i dont want to waste all the money ive put into it. i will pWn people on the speedball course with my tippy and then rub it in their faces.

the JCS Duel Trigger can be had for as little as $28.00. The APE Pro-E magnetic is 40 dollars. The PRO-E uses magnets instead of springs which gives it a slight edge over every other trigger. its SUPER smooth (imagine 2 magnets repelling each other) and SUPER fast. The JCS is also an AWESOME trigger though. I had ojne and was able to walk my e-grip'd A-5 to 16BPS after only a week of practice.

Oh, I forgot to tell you, you really need to get a JCS Jet-Click for your cyclone. The Cyclone internals eat the big one at high rates of fire REAL quick. The JCS Jet-Click replaces the stock plastic crap with aluminum and brass, it will NEVER wear out and break in the middle of a game like the stock stuff. PLYUS it will allow you to shoot at over 23BPS without skipping or chopping a ball!

Special-Ops paintball offers both the JCS Duel Trigger and the JCS Jet-Click on ther web page. I beliebe they are selling the Duel Trigger for 27.99. The Jet-Click is labeled as the "JCS A-5 CYCLONE SHAFT & RATCHET KIT PRO" though, not as the Jet-Click... however you can find it cheaper elsewhere. They sell it for 39.99 and Ive seen it go for 33 dollars before. Shop around. And DONT get the Tech_T Vortex. It does the same thing as the JCS Jet-Click but its a PITA to install and it doesnt work as well.

yeah was gonna buy the vortex, but when my tippmann pb shop wouldnt even install it i said its gotta be a B*tch to install and said no way. Yeah will def. be geting that stuff next, i get my check friday and have to pay off some loans to my mom then i should be able to buy some 40-50 dollar upgrades till next pay.

Yea, I’ve installed a few Vortex mods and Jet-Clicks. The Vortex (as per Tech-T's instructions) REQUIRES *TWO* people to do the install, along with a screw driver, pliers and a HAMMER. Even after you have installed one and got it down it takes at LEAST 30-45 minutes to put it in.

The JCS Jet-Click on the other hand doesn’t require ANY tools (other then a screw driver to open the cyclone housing) and you can do it your self in less then 10 minutes. NO force is required, everything slips in with ease.

Plus the JCS costs a few bucks less and WORKS BETTER.

You can do it your self with ease, even if you are a noob at modding.

I didn't feel like reading all those posts so I don't know if the RD Centerfeed has alread been mentions but yea, re-sell the cyclone and use the money to purchase the centerfeed and an Eggy II or maybe even a III if you feel like it's necessary. You will get so many hopper hits with the cyclone if you play real tough ball, the centerfeed will give the marker more of a balanced feel and the egg is just about all you need for a Tippmann. But yea, I did read on how Mistermister said you need a new trigger, the JCS looks really nice. Or even the new TechT Fang trigger looks good too.

1. The JCS trigger isn't an option for the Custom Pro.
2. Buy a new gun (but keep your Tippy)!!

Nicely upped DM4s, PM5s, and Timmys go for only $300. The upgrades you want for the Tippy cost $200 - only $100 less. A DM4 or Timmy will blow the upped Custom Pro out of the water. You'll do better in that tourny as a result.

i think i might do that, but as for right now im going to stick to upgrading. i was thinking about buying an Ego when i start working two jobs this summer, but untill then im going to max out my tippy.

Rocket Cock
Rear Velocity Adjuster
Pure Energy 48/3000 filled with nitro (you mean air, right?)
Redz tank cover

Flame Drop

Mill tippmann, rear sight, hand grip off

Mill away
powdercoated white

Sure, what ever.
palmers stabalizer

Not needed. You have HPA. A normal reg is fine.
Of course since you are going to mill off that hand grip, you won't be able to easily drop in a vert adapter and standard regulator.
You can get one for the stock hole, it is just not as common.

fang trigger

Decent trigger
10" progressive, or DYE ultralight

Ones is as good as the next.

Ricochet R5 hopper (if anyone has one for sale cheap or want to trade something LMK)

That hopper is like 15 bucks. How much cheaper do you want?

Macro lines(will these work with HP nitro??)

Steel braided is better. You don't have a cradle for your HPA, it just screws into the asa, so the is just no reason to use macro.
If you want quick disconnect, you can get QDs for the steel braided.
Thanks for helping.

For the time and money you are looking to invest you are going to be disapointed.

A 98 is not a perfect marker. I really like them, but they are old blowback tech. Up it all you want, it is not going to perform like an LP EP marker. Close, but not all the way.

For 250 you can get an ANS razor ION. Comes upped with a QEV, clamping feedneck, Metal body kit, 90 degree grip frame, and ans trigger.

I know you say you are done with woodsball, but I really think you may want to keep your marker setup as it is. The woods will call you back occasionally. Trust me.
If you are certain you won't go back , definately sell you marker and get a more speedball oriented marker, like an Ion, promaster, wrath, used shocker, ect...

I say get a bigger tank casue that tanks only gonna last you about 480 shots but thats IMO and plus you got that cyclone feed thats gonna use a littler more air not much just a little and maybe a CF tank if its in your budget. you should try to get a barrel kit, freak kits are pretty good you never know when your gonna run in to somthing and have to git differant paint sizes and stuff. and a regulator should be good, o yea and a X-7 hopper for a lower profile. thats what i would do if i was in your shoes;)

I give that a hearty "So what?:eyes: ".
If he is playing speedball at a field that has air, you just refill.
As long he doesn't burn that many shots in a single game.
And the cyclone does NOT use any more air than regular operation.
And the X-7 hopper is not friendly for fast refills. Very tight lid, and you need to wobble it back and forth once during the load to get the whole tube in becasue it so low.
