Alright, I was looking at these guns and they all seem to be great, but what would you guys recommend? What are the major/minor problems with these markers? I know that they are all pretty nice for the price, but I'm not too sure... I have heard that the Diablos are not as great as some people say they are... Thx for your input...

If you want to find out people's personal experiences, read the reviews. Out of those, I'd take the Wrath or VS2. They're both good guns, reliable, fast, little kick, but I hear the Wrath isn't too efficient. Shoot both the Wrath and VS2 and see which is better to you, I would have to put them both on the same level. Another cheaper choice would be a Piranha EVO SE. Costs only around $120 and is LP, has bouncebeam eye, Detonator reg, the works.

So which out of the Wrath and the VS2 would be more efficient? Doesn't the Wrath use the FASOR system like the Dangerous Power Fusion? (Which I would really like to get if I had the money :()

the wrath is more efficient if you set it up right and the reg on the wrath once broken into is +/- 3, but it is a little more complicated than the VS2 not alot but jst a bit. Also the wrath stock barrel is better..and yes the wrath is a fasor system like the fusion

This thread was made before I saw some videos on youtube with people with wraths... they didn't seem that good... but maybe it was just the people using them... which of the two is beter stock?

The Fusion is FASOR, but its much better than any Wrath. The fact that a gun is FASOR doesn't mean its worse than another gun, the Fusion is better than the Ion even though the Ion is fully EP.

Yeah the fusion is leaps and bounds better then the wrath. Before the fusion and legend came out FASOR's were just meh and weren’t all the great. Out of those i'd have to say i'd take the vs2 it feels better then the wrath and is probably more reliable. Also look into the used market you can find good deals on older high-ends these days.

Yeah, but I really don't like buying used guns... Don't know what they have been through really...

I'd go with the VS2. In the same price range is the Lasoya Promaster. I just bought one, but the VS2 was also heavily considered. Of the ones you listed, go with the VS2, but also look into the Lasoya Promaster. Only problem with the LPM is availability. They went out of produstion a while ago and actionvillage sold out a month or two ago, but KEE has started selling them again somewhere, not sure where. Try Froogle.

If you're going for a Lasoya, you'll be spending around $260 on the gun and ASA. With the VS2, it'll be only $180. Hold and shoot both, and ask yourself whether or not the difference is worth the cost. Also you could get the Ion, but you'll need to drop some extra cash on a feedneck and trigger.

Everyone says that the feedneck and trigger are bad... is that just preference? I mean i held my friends used ion yesterday (the trigger wasn't "Great" but i liked it) and the feedneck seemed fine...

Well without proper sanding, the Ion stock feedneck will fit practically no hopper. Its pretty much the first upgrade on every Ion. The stock Ion trigger is survivable until you've felt other triggers, there is no comparison between the stock Ion trigger and aftermarket triggers. I guess the trigger is preference, but the feedneck is something that needs to be replaced unless you want to shove the hopper down the feedneck, use electrical tape, or sand the hopper feedneck down.

Top three things needed for the ion is a new trigger, feedneck, and qev.

Well I think that I could live with the stock feedneck for a while... also the trigger... but does the QEV make the Ion more or less efficient?

The QEV will make the Ion more efficient.
I'd say VS2 in this situation. Easiest to maintain out of all the rest, IMO, and a bit better stock than the Ion for a lesser price.

True... alright, thx for your guys opinions... sorry that this became another VS2 vs. Ion thread... :( Didn't really mean for that...

It'll happen as long as I'm here. :D  :dodgy:
It wouldn't matter really. It's for an actual purchase this time...

Yeah true... I have around $50 now and I would only really need about $180 or more (but thats if I got the Ion...). But I still don't have a nitrogen tank or the eggyIII hopper I want to get so I'm pretty much in the whole for now... *tear*

Take a hiatus from balling at the field. I haven't played in 3, yes 3, months. -_- Off-topic, but yes, I had to get that off my chest.

I have owned a Wrath for about a year and an A-5 for a few years.
Out of my experince with the Wrath Ltd (not exactly the same as the Wrath) it is a very good gun for the cost. I get about 800 shots to a full 68/4500 high pressure hpa tank without my t-board (a upgrade that has a LOT of goodies to it). It gets me through the day, especially because it is relatively accurate with a good barrel (no kick to it if properly tuned).
But some parts on it are questionable, easy to break... such as the barb fitings (on the LTD only). They are very easy to snap, if you have a leak just send her in (if it is from a barb).
Just don't open it up and screw around to much.
BUT I will warn you... all Wraths are very... tempermental in their own way. Some work very well, some barely work at all. Most work atleast decently, and if you have a Wrath problem, post in the Diablo Forum on PBnation. Its much more active than the Diablo forum here.
I would get the Wrath, they are very very good for the price.
The VS2, i would avoid. They have many problems (I have personally seen a few).
If you have any other questions I would be happy to help.

^^^The Wrath reminds me of the Rex R3, I'm sure that they are good guns, but the one my friend owned worked only once out of countless times of use.

Actually, the rex markers came AFTER the Wrath. It is them that remind me of the Wrath. The rex markers are cheaper but seem to have lots of problems.
The wrath line of markers do have problems but now, (the last generation and the LTD have very few) not so much. There are very few gen 1 and 2 Wraths for sale now off of main sites like action village.
The reason for Wraths being a similar operation to the DP Power fusion but being cheaper is the parts are cheaper. But the performance of the Wrath (at least the LTD) verse the Fusion will be identical (the Fusion will pull ahead a bit but not enough to shatter your day)
