Ok, I need to know about any kind of sites I could put on my jt 3.0, or any costom setups any one has. thanks!!!
i dont think you can put a sight on it without being able to use it because the vertical feed is in the way

when i get bored and get a new barrel and revy im going to try to find a chrome magnum scope on the right side of my gun, so if i play a big senario game i will be able to tell them where they are at.

since you have a vertical feed the only sight you can get is a "reddot one"

it takes a little custom machining but I adapted a side mount that attaches to that otherwise worthless weaver mount on top.
heres what you will need:
1 cheap BE or daisy red dot site
1 piece of aluminum stock 1/2"x3"x1"
access to a dremal tool,or drill press or a friend with a metal shop.
tap and screws.
SAFTY GLASSES, once againand I can not express this strongly enough USE some SAFTY GLASSES!!!!!!!
heres how I did it:
Step 1, remove the top part off of the red dot and throw it away (you only want the the site rail)
step2, take the alum. stock, drill 2 holes in it on the 1/2' side that line up with the red dots sight rail's mounting holes about 1/2" in depth. then tap the new holes.
step 3 heres the hard part use dremal tool (or run down to local machine shop and have them do it!) with cutting tip or grid wheel to CAREFULLY cut the weaver dove tail ( in the oppisite side from where you drilled the 2 holes.
step 4, take the new site that you will be using (I used a bsa 30mm red dot 29.98 at walmart) and match up its mount to the new mount that you've made ( you may have to make a few passes with the dremal on the alum. stock to make fit better) once all fits as desired paint, powdercoat, or anadize to preferance and moun to gun. all in all it took me about 2 hours to make. it looks cool but you will have little vision on the side across from from the site .
anyhow sorry for so long a post:sleep:
