I don't think it'll weigh that much with a barrel or an ASA, but either way, it wouldn't be much heavier, either.
If you want further info, Tabris will come and elaborate on how great 'borgs are.

HELP!
and what is the best bord out for the 07 borg currently?

Currently, I don't know of any boards out yet. The stock board is fantastically fine, though. It's able to cycle the marker at 33 bps.

Weight (w/barrel): 1lb 14oz
Length/Height/Width: 9.5"/8.2"/1.1"
Max rate of fire: Unlimited
Operating Pressure HPR: 200 psi
Operting Pressure LPR: 65 psi
Owning a manual helps alot. ;)
As far as boards the 07 stock board is probably the nicest if you ask me, I heard it's insane with the new coding on there which all new 07 Borgs are going to have. Though you can get it flashed to a NOX code if you wanted or if you have an older stock board you can get it flashed to the new X7 Militia software. Or you can buy an 06 NOX board or an 06 Stock board which is really a Predator board. So you have Stock Macdev, NOX, or 06 Predator. I would stick with the stock 07 board though personally.
And for operating pressure I actually turn my hpr to 220 and then I can run my lpr around 50 psi so it's softer on paint. But honestly Borgs just kiss paint anyway, they're so soft on paint you can run pretty much anything through them. I've used Inertia on triple-shot psp and never had one single barrel break or chop with the borg.

Are you kidding me? Only 1.lb 14oz and 65psi? Dang I thought the mini was awesome but this blown my mind away.

I run my HPR at 220 psi and I can drop my LPR lower then 65. I didn't gauge my 07 doing that but based on how my 06 was shooting when I had it, I'd say my LPR floats around 55 psi.
And the thing with the mini is it's light and nothing else, it feels horrible when loaded down with paint, a hopper, and tank. Yet people still brag how light the gun is and even say their hoppers are heavier. The thing about Cyborgs are not only are they rather light but they're probably the most balanced markers on the planet. So when loaded up for a day of play they feel very comfortable in your hand as the weight is right on the grip frame where your hand is. Not back or front heavy at all, it's a very enjoyable experience playing with and owning a Cyborg.

So, uhhh, Tabs, you thinkin' of sellin' one of your 'borgs, or your only 'borg, for, oh let's call it... $25? Including a tank, $30? :dodgy:

Go to the nation. A lot of people there want to sell their 07's. Might of changed since the new stuff became available. Couldn't hurt to try anyways.

Yeah, I'll check it out, Tweeter. I need j-o-b first. -_-

Alot of people on the nation were selling their 07's because they were to impatient to wait for the new noids to come out. They were also the ones that sold their 06's and didn't have any other backup markers to use.

So, if I were to pick up an 07, would they still get me a 'noid/bolt/w.e? Gahh, I want a 'borg...

Is there kick at all, or just not really noticeable? Spool valve, or ram driven poppet valve (Got it from the sticky on high end electronic markers)? Thanks.

ram driven poppet valve. Almost no kick. Shoots about as smooth as spool valves, in some cases smoother.

I had hardcore shocker owners shoot my 07 and be blown away by how smooth it was. They even said it was as smooth if not smoother then their shockers, even with ramping.

I think it's safe to say you guys have me sold on a Cyborg. I'm torn between a few others but I'm leaning towards the Borg!

We're going to hold you to that. Once you join the Milita it's very hard to leave if ever. ;)

Tabris looking at your list of guns, you have been playing awhile I'm guessing and have played with most guns out there? And you still going to recommend the Borg?
I have been talking to a bunch of players at the field I play at, if money wasn't an object what would they get? And of course they say theres is the best all the others suck lol.... So I have been researching the forums for awhile and will try to shoot all of them before I purchase my next beast.

Also notice that out of all the markers Tabris owns the Borg is the first one listed. I have a feeling that's not by accident. I feel the same way about my 06 Borg. Out of all the guns on the market right now I wouldn't buy anything else other than another 06 Borg or an 07 Borg.

Id buy other things too. I'd take a good hard look at the A1, ego7, dm7, and gen 4 timmies, but I'd buy the borg before I bought anythign else. Lots of sweet gats out there.

07 Egos feel like trash to me, it's all grip and no body and it makes it feel funny. The borgs just feel amazing to me which is why they're my favorite with timmys and marqs close behind. Marqs are nice and smooth like Borgs but not quite there but they're heavier then a regular timmy. My Marq is actually comparable in weight to my Ripper 1 timmy or even my old Dragon, but I'm not a stickler for complaining about weight honestly.
Still, this being the Macdev forum you're going to get a biased answer toward the Borgs. But that's okay because Borgs, I feel, are the best marker over all out there. Why spend 2k on an SL-74 when it's really just an over milled 07 Ego when you can spend half that on an 07 Cyborg that is going to feel better, have less kick then an ego and I've had ego owners attest to this after shooting my 07 Borg, have less kick then an NXT shocker which has also been attested to first hand, be more balanced then any other marker out there, and just give you everything you wanted in a marker?
Cyborgs are a dream to shoot and own and I've never had my Cyborgs gone down. My timmys have gone down for user error things and some leaks, my Marq blew the noid second day of play for some very very odd reason, but the Borgs have been good since day one. Even with the 'bad' noid that they used to come with.

Thanks a lot guys for your feedback it helps. I'm pretty much sold on the Borg, I have yet to hear a negative thing about the gun from anyone. Including ego, timmy etc players. I will let you guys know what I end up with soon. Thanks again for all your feedback.....

I can tell you one thing that might stray you away for 'borgs... In outer space, they are very, very mean, and remember, "Resistance is futile".
(Ooooooo, cheezy Star Trek moment...) :-D
