Hello,
1) If I tend to wear size Medium shirts (well fit), what size jersey would be recommended? I'm 5'11 145lb athletic build.
2) When one goes to fields with their on equipment/marker. How does the chrono work?(have only used rentals). I understand how the actual chrono works, but I mean how do you adjust your marker if they say it's shooting too fast, or too slow?
thanks.

get a largeif you want it a little baggy, most do. and there probably a screw or knob of some sort you turn to adjust it.

Different guns are adjusted in different ways.
My US-5 is similar to most Tippys in that it has a screw on the side that you turn in or out to decrease or increase the velocity. Most stacked-tube blow backs (like syders or piranhas) have a knob on the back. Some markers (nelson style pumps) have an adjuster on the bolt, that you have to access down the barrel. Or than there is my Hammer, which is too old to have an adjuster on it...
Just check the manual, it is usually a prominent section, and if you buy used you can usually still find the manual online somewhere.

I recommend getting a jersey a size larger than you are. The bagginess will help with getting bounces. Just try them on the sizing is the same as a t-shirt.
Velocity adjustment depends on the gun, but if you buy a gun the manual that comes with it should tell you.

Mediums fit me well also, and I'm 5'9", 145 lbs, I wear a 2XL or XL longsleeve when I play. It all depends on my mood and temperature that decides which one I want to wear. You should go at least a size up when you buy a jersey.
Guns have velocity adjusters that you turn which dial in your desired speed.

Another question: what does NIB and LNIB stand for? I noticed all markers fall under these names, and are cheaper in price.
****EDIT: Uhhh I think I figured out once I resaid it, haha. Is NIB - New in Box? But whats LNIB then?
Thanks.

What??? :pissed:
Just kidding. :D And I don't know, I think it is sound advice that people could certainly benefit from. How many times have we seen people that have put $500 in upgrades onto a $100 marker before they ever fire a shot? As a guy on a budget, that just seems silly.

I agree, thats why I added it to my signature. I would of made a nice image since i'm pro' at photoshop, but it seems this forum doesn't allow images in the signature.
Anyways thanks for your help all. Guess I'll get a XL.
*EDIT*
what does OBO mean when people sell something?

Or Best Offer.
What it actually usually depends on what the person is feeling at the moment, I have seen plenty of times where someone will put that down but decline any offer that isn't for their asking price.
