my brother is sick and tired of his tippman (and getting beat by my kick @ss spyder) so he's looking into getting a new gun he wants to do all the upgrades himself though.
heres what i think he needs(not all must be met)
(ones with stars are important)
*no exc chamber to gas through grip
*no reg
*no bottom line
have field strip pin
have sight rail
double trigger
easily upgradable
rear cocking(or top)
(the specifications are listed in order of importance) thanks so much for your help

ohyeah i forgot the 2 most important things
a. suggest a gun (duh)
b. don't say he should keep his tippman, he doesn't like it for a number of reasons but that doesn't mean its not a good gun. so try and saty on topic because he needs help

If he likes upgrading, get a WGP autococker. He can build it without touching a stock part. but if he doesn't have that kinda money, get a piranha g3 or g2 series gun. The sts is a great gun for the price. It is compatible with most spyder parts except bolt and 45 frame. plus a spyder vs. piranha is a great rivalry.
I dont understand why your brother doesnt want some of the stuff you list but i would go with a Spyder Compact also.

he doesn't want that stuff because he wants to do the upgrades on his own so he can prioritize and not pay for things he will take off anyway, i thought i explained this. i guess not
Sorry dude all i saw was my brother doesnt want all the great features. The aftermarket parts cannot be that much better then the stock parts. barrels are probably the only exception.
